I saw your wash n go video. What was your process? Was your hair hard? Moisturized? I really want to do a wash n go with my Eco Styler, but I have no clue where to start. Yours turned out super cute!!! Do tell.

I am another curly who LOVES HE HH. I do not think I will give it up, EVER. The smell, consistency and price are all winners in my book. In fact, I am going to Rite Aid (local drug store)today since they have it on sale.

I think u are right! The styles looks different and more hair is resilient...but it does retain moisture well now..ur so helpful!.and HE HH is on sale?? WHATTTTT??

Eden!! ok my process went like this:

#1. cowashed my hair with suave and left some in...i think i may have added some HE HH...as well
#2. I got some gel (depending on the section of hair..I didnt get too much though) and raked it through each section....

#3. I shook my head like a dog! left,right,front, back...i shook my head so hard I bumped it on the bathtub ( i held my head over it bc I didnt want to get my bathroom walls messy)

#4. Bc i was going out i used a diffuser a little to let it dry but It remained damp in the inside the whole night..

Ummm the honest truth is my hair was kind of crunchy (a stronger hold) but not hard...It was moisturized but i dont think I liked the feeling of gel...Im just used to my hair being soft...I did have alot of movement....like when i touched my hair it was moveable...but I thought I looked like I had a jerri curl

I will probably do it again using a diff product or when it gets warmer outisde...

But please try it Eden so I can see how it look on u!!

Mandy's Mood:

She is bouncy and happy! Especially since she has been deep conditioned and pampered..

So previously I tried a wash n go (on saturday) and i the results were cute...Well ..I like the individual spiral curls..but im not used to my hair feeling crunchy bc of the jell...Im also used to having my fro out and curly...but with the WNG it was compaq...

My edges were kind of hurting a little the next day... idk...I do want to do it again when it gets warmer and when my hair is longer...I also will probably use aloe vera gel, or something...idk how i feel about gel yet....

Here is a front view...(the height it what im trying to show)excuse the mouse lookin face!



Pros:
-the style will last
-the curls are super defined
-Mandy was shiny

Cons:
-The "crunchy" feel
-the jerri curl look was not what was up
-I couldnt get as much moisture as I usually do with my twist outs..

All in all it was a good style...I will try it again when it becomes warmer

I too liked the wash and go. I can't wait for it warm up here, I think I will bite the bullet, buy some KCCC and try your routine with KCCC instead of gel and see how my hair turns out (and hopefully I wont bump my head, maybe I'll stand in the tub as opposed to leaning over it ).

In the reply box there's a silver icon that looks like a link. Click on it and a box will pop up with two boxes in it. The first box you can copy and paste a url into it. If you want you can stop there or to get a word to lead to a link like a did "channel" just type in the word in the second box and click ok. Hope you understood that.
