1/2 cup of gel

1 tablespoon of EVOO

1 tablespoon of castor oil

1 tablespoon of avocado oil

I think you could any kind of gel....the combination of the gel and oil gives your hair hold without it being hard. Now it you are heavy handed, like I tend to be at times, it will be hard at first but each day it gets softer and softer.

Where do you get the avocado oil from?

I ordered my online from iherb.com....I couldnt find any at the time. I later found out the local organic store (the only one in the state [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]) carries it.

My hair loves avocado oil! Now, olive oil well that's a different story!! I was thinking of doing Lynnie's mix without the olive oil.

This is the last of my braid -twist out combination. My SC natural Hair meet-up is tomorow and I was trying to do something different. I didnt want my hair hanging on my neck. Uh- What did i just type. I didnt' want my hair hanging on my neck!!!!!!!

I waited so long for hair to touch my neck!!!!!

Thanks! I'm going to try the dry twists with the mango butter. This is the second day of my twists and they are the same length or a little longer since wash day. I'm getting a little bit more comfortable with wearing them to work.

Made my chunky, un-uniform twists work for the week. This morning, I applied my sheacocoaloe mix donned a scarf while getting ready and made a messy bun in back. Turned out pretty okay if I must say so myself.

Why my arm look so thin?

Are you in an elevator in that pic? I think part of the paneling by the door cut off your arm in the reflection Smile

As usual, your hair looks great Smile

Yes, I am in an elevator. Thanks for pointing out reason for my small arm. I was like, WTH?!

Thanks for the compliments ladies!

Here is my frizzy twist out. I was having a little fun with it and my eyes before pre-pooing and doing my henna treatment.

So yesterday, my hubby and I made a road trip to Cleveland to see Maxwell. Around 8am, I washed my 2 week old twist hair with Organixs Tea Tree Shampoo, then conditioned with HE Totally Twisted. On wet hair I applied an amazing Shea butter mix that my girl made, and twisted with Twist n Loc gel.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I let my hair air dry til about 5pm

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Enjoying a martini Smile

Then I did twistouts for the concert.

Ready for Jill and Maxwell

Just wanted to show that you don't have to wear twist for a long time to get nice twistouts Smile

Week 5 is OVAA!! One more to go!!

So I set my twist with a modified mixture of the Ecco Custard.

1 cp Ecco Gel
2 tbs. Herbal Essence Hello Hydration
1 tbs. EVOO
1 tbs. EVCO

I love it, my hair had hold, it was smooth, conditioned and stretched!!! I call it Ecco pudding because of the texture.

Here's a few styles
