Lots of update pictures to share with you guys!!!
My twists on Friday
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I took my twists out in the library on Friday. LOL here's what they looked like
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I took a shower and let the steam hit the twistout and it turned into a cool, chunky fro
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
For some reason, I didn't keep my hair like this either! So on to hairstyle number 3: the curly fro (I picked the twistout apart)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Now moving on to Saturday, I did a wash n go
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And finally, after going swimming on Sunday afternoon with the homies, I twisted my hair up while deep conditioning and this is the final product of my week 5 twists

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Ok ladies, here are the pics of my twists that I put in on Sat., I was reluctant to wear them to work today (never wore twists to work). To my surprise I received many compilments, and of course some stares [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] as well, whatever! Anyway, one of my co-workers said my natural hair inspired her to go natural herself, yay!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Of course I turned her onto the "CN" site.

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Ok, I made sure I got twisted up before the day was over. I decided to do the flat twists in the from and the two strand in the back again.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Oh, FYI, tomorrow will be 12 weeks natural for me.

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Thanks ladies. I was very pleased with the results. I recieved alot of compliments too.
@BSD, I wish I could give a tutorial but I don't have a webcam....lol.
But it is a 2 strand twist all around with double strand flat twists on one side.
@CG, thank you and I would NOT MIND AT ALL being your hair twin....

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I twisted again last night. Same boring style, but with a side part this time.
Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
BBD they shrunk up something awful. I don't like them this week at all! No more wet twisting for me...the clips didn't even work. I mean the definition is on point so no compliant there. I just took them out at my desk. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] so it a least looks fuller.BlondeByDesire wrote:

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Sweet- you ought to cut it out! They were looking good!! But I am with you on the no more wet twists. Nyla and I like dry twists!!
Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Nyla that pic above is when I took them out, a twist out at my desk! LOL! I think I was spoiled by the stretched twists, thats all. Look at my AVI verses today. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Shrinkage man!!
I will say this...That KNB butter keeps the definition on point! Love it and I didn't use the gel this time

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Yeah, the stretched twists will get you spoiled- has lots of definition! I love KBN for real! I am getting one more braid style then back to my twists!
Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Hi everyone! All of you ladies' twists look wonderful. I took my hair down on Friday and did my very first henna...not too shabby. I then re-coiled on Sunday. Nothing spectacular. I'd love to learn how to do all the things you guys have been doing...I can't flat twist to save my life!
