@Nyla, oooop, cocoeuro & bholmes, thanks ladies!
Ooop, I prefer overnight twist outs. Yours are ideal! I cannot wait to see Maxwell and Jill on June 19. I have not seen her in a few years, cannot wait [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] .
Cocoeuro, I love the styles, I may have to try your mix. It sounds good. Thanks for sharing.
@Nyla, I checked out the pictures. I like that y'all had contests and giveaways. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves.

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I put kinky twist in my hair May 12th 2010...so far it has been great. Glad I don't have to comb my hair everyday: that is the best of all . I will finally get to wash it Wednesday coming. I plan to keep them in until July....My hair is sooooo soft I swear..I moisturize it everyday and that is the best thing because my hair is thanking me for it.

Are you in an elevator in that pic? I think part of the paneling by the door cut off your arm in the reflection
As usual, your hair looks great
Thanks for the compliments ladies!
Here is my frizzy twist out. I was having a little fun with it and my eyes before pre-pooing and doing my henna treatment.

Week 6 all twisted up.... I may have to refresh this weekend for a great twist out because I am meeting my man's parents for the first time in Charlotte. A little nervous because as you guys know everybody doesn't embrace naturals right away...

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
It's almost over!!!!! And it looks like Nyla, Natural813, Ooopand Chrs are going out with a bang because their hair is banging!!!!!
I didn't retwist this weekend because I am lazy..LOL. But I did change it up a little. The top of my hair is simply twisted around itself and pinned back. Had to do it in sections to make it stay.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And the back is left to do what it do.. Nost sure if I'll wear a twist out at the end of the week or not, but they will definitely be coming down on Friday.

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Last week woo hoo!!! I think I am going to continue with the pinned up twist a little while longer! My hair loves me for doing this! It has gotten thicker, it stays moisturized all week! What's not to love about that?
So here are my twist this week!!! I decided to do a total pin-up for the last week! With a little treat!!!

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I am all twisted up. I'm sad that this is the last week of the twist challenge. This is probably my best set of twists. I can really see the difference from the weeks that I don't wear my hair twisted. I will probably continue to do them most weeks than not.
I will post pics in my CSJ since I haven't posted to that in a while...hehe

This week's do. I used Curls products and put twists in single strand bantu knots last night and unraveled this morning and pinned most of them. I plan to wear this look all week with different hair accessories. I picked up quite a few at H & M on Saturday.

Re: Twist Challenge Part 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I just posted these pics on Curl Street but I want to share it with you guys too! Here are my twists from Wednesday - hump in the front, bun in the back

On Thursday night, our choir at school went to a pastor's appreciation service at the church we will be having our concert at in June. So I wore a twistout.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I also did a length check so this is how long my hair is right now on the right side (which is longer than the left side by about 1/4 of an inch):
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
When I was going to sleep I decided to try putting my twistout in bigger twists. I saw how NikkiMae preserved her Miss Jessie's dry twistout and it looked awesome! Here are what the twists looked like.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
So when I woke up in the morning on Friday, I still liked how the twistout looked. However, in some areas the curl pattern was a little awkward. It wasn't noticeable to anyone but me probably. lol
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Saturday I just slept with a satin bonnet because that allows my twistouts to get bigger.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This is how I wore my hair on Sunday. It's just pinned up in the back.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
So on Sunday night I mixed some conditioners, oil and glycerin for a deep treatment. I put it on dry hair, put on a shopping bag and bonnet, and went to sleep. I rinsed that out this morning and added Nexxus Humectress as a leave in. Then I put on coconut oil as a moisturizer/sealant. So I have a puff today! Until later when I will be twisting [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

We've almost made it to the finish line so don't give up loves!!! WE CAN DO IT!!
