If you wear makeup, is it on point?

@nubbie. Looking good lady i love the shadow you got the blending down.
So pretty!
Re: Makeup - Anything New--Tips, Looks, Etc.
Kinda mad cause i tried the L.A colors loose powder and it has way tooo much fallout that the eyeshadow get's in my eye and it feels like there is glitter in my eye it is so painful it turns my eyes red and rubbing and water doesn't help. I was trying to see if I could do a cheaper shadow than MAC just to try something different, but I think this is one of the reasons I stick to the MAC shadows.
Anyone notice the difference between cheaper shadows and MAC or similar brands?

hey laydeez!
i been missing yall. i went to the new sephora in fredricksburg and once again...they did NOT have the 5 in 1 palette so im gonna have to order it online. Also, i got a few sticks of eyeliners; the sephora brand and its goin back cuz i aint feelin it. im thinkin....ok i'll be CHEAP and get the $8 sephora brand cuz i cant afford the urban decay's at $17 ea. well NO!! they look cute when i tested it on my hand but tryin it on my eye...it was too light and too hard to apply. i guess UD has spoiled me. i was able to re-up on my primer potion though [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sooo yea, gotta get my $22 back from them and im gonna add to my order the 24/7 set on sale for $20...HOOOOOOWEVER!!! im gonna check my ebay out first.

@priceless; ur eyebrows sound like mine! sometimes i use the brow kit (NYX $2) and use the shadow wit the wax but i find its just easier and faster to use the brow pencil (also from NYX $1 and it came wit 2)
@cutephan-i got some kind of maybelline mascara for $3 (clearance) and i agree, CG lashblast in the orange tube is a flop for me. it gets hard and doesnt last long and ur right...its hard to wipe off. thats $7 i can be puttin towards something better AND cheaper!
also thanx for the shea butter n facial wash tip to wipe off makeup. sounds yummy n well moisturized.

Re: Makeup - Anything New--Tips, Looks, Etc.
Hey Ladies today I tried working with my Mary Kay shadow I've had for a minute. It half the price of MAC but a 1/4 of the size [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] so in todays look i used my all that glitter (MAC)on the inner eye, Navy(Mary Kay) on the Lid, then i realized it was waaaay to dark probably would have been better on the outside to create a Navy smokey eye, so i pulled out my Denim (which is a lighter blue shimmer) (Mary Kay) and applied that on Top of the Navy and this is what I got:

Hey moore. I love how you were inspired by your headband. We were both thinking blue today here is my look. My hair and eyebrows hate me today so don't mind them. lol only judge my shadow

OOOO I [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] that teal color, I don't have that in my stash. Next week I will be purchasing some stuff. I went to the mall last night and refused to set foot in MAC or Sephora. Because I know I will be adding stuff to the list you guys have mentioned especially that nubie mentioning sephora having palettes on sale.

Re: Makeup - Anything New--Tips, Looks, Etc.
I recently started getting more into makeup. I used to just wear a lipgloss/carmex and eyeliner. Ever since I found e.l.f. though, I've been a makeup junkie. I think I have every cosmetic
they make. lol
I especially love to play around with eyeshadows.

Re: Makeup - Anything New--Tips, Looks, Etc.
I have a question Make-Up Divas...
What can I use to get the shadow to stay on throughout the day, an event, etc.? What do I need to do? Is there a particular brand that "lasts" better?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! ;-)

Hey RYL! I am loving MAC paint pots right now. I use as a Primer/Base and it works wonderfully. It makes my colors pop and stays all day. So i would recommend that or Urban Decay Primer Potion. Hope that helps
