Hey Crissy! I bought the amla to use as a prepoo. I heard it doesn't smell good and after I purchased I agree. So I plan to use it before I shampoo that way the scent won't linger in my hair (lol).

Hey Big Sis! Just stopping by to say hi. I finally got around to using the DevaCare One condish. I like it a lot. It's so rich and creamy. You don't need a lot either. What didn't you like about it? I'm not good at reviews so I'm always trying to figure out if I'm considering the right aspects for a product.

Not sure if I'll purchase it regularly because I know there are cheaper options but it's definitely a good option I think since clearly the quality and ingredients are very good.

Hey KC- just wanted to share with you that I keep trying for those thick, chunky twists like you get and got a step closer with a braid out. It's not easy trying to keep up with you experts! What's new with you?

I'm glad you like the DevaCare. It wasn't moisturizing enough for me. Kalla is thick and literally sucks up products (lol)! I bought it when I thought I was going to follow the curly girl method but that did not work for me since cones don't bother my hair and actually help me with detangling.

Hey Poeticly nothing new here. I'm being kind of lazy with my hair since I'm just wearing twists. I saw your braidout and love it! You definitely have some big hair going on over there! I am so not an expert (lol)

I think I finally figured out how to use hair milk (lol)! I kept thinking that it didn't work on my hair. I kept using it on my hair when it was soaking wet but it works better for me on dry hair. I did a twist out on Friday and it looked so dry and busted. I took some Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus hair milk from Target and re-twisted my hair and it looks and feels much better. It definitely added some shine and moisture. I think I will be using this whenever I need to re-twist my hair. Sorry no pics, I didn't have my camera on me.

That's how I use hair milk.... Dry hair to retwist at night

Hey Poeticly this is definitely going to become a staple for me since it really helped to add moisture back into my hair.

Hey Curlies,

Instead of washing my hair today I decided to wait another week and do it next weekend. I wore a twistout on Friday and Saturday so today I spritzed my hair with my Jane Carter leave-in and used Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus hair milk to re-twist my hair. I am really liking this hair milk since I have been using it on dry hair because it is really moisturizing.
I bought some rosewater which I plan to use as a moisturizer on my hair and scalp. I plan to add a little vegetable glycerin and evoo to the rosewater. Hopefully my scalp won't itch too bad this week. Also I have been oiling my scalp with Vatika Oil.


Okay I've been bad. I had put myself on a no buy challenge for stylers and deep conditioners until the black friday sales that everyone will be having but I caved in and bought something . I ordered the moisture balancing buttercream and the curl styling buttercream from Ori Organics. I am a sucker for any styler that is thick and creamy since my hair literally sucks up and absorbs anything I put in it (lol).

The customer service is excellent since I received my products within a week. Since I'm not washing my hair until next weekend I won't be using them until then. I plan to only use these two stylers on my hair for the next 2-3 weeks so I will give an official review once I have used them and decide if my hair really likes them. I've been slacking on taking pics also so I will try to remember to take pics this week.
