Re: Krazy Coils,
Hey Curlies,
I co-washed my hair with Aussie moist and put my twists back in for the rest of the week with my Afroveda Shea Amla. I will wear a twist out for the weekend. Aussie moist used to be one of my fave conditioners but I'm only using it now because I want to use it up. At this point I know which products work for me but I find myself using products I don't really like just to get rid of them.
I've thought of placing myself on a challenge only to use the products which I know work for me for the next three months. I don't have that many conditioners which I don't like but for some reason I felt the need to use those up first. Do you ever find yourself using products just to get rid of them even if you don't like them?
Anywho here are some pics of my twists. There medium size since I didn't feel like doing them too small:

And I do have products that I know I'm not repurchasing and using just to get rid of it, like my Suave Naturals. Actually I need to return the unopened bottles.

Hey Curlsunfurled! Thank you!

Thank you Serenity! I hope the twistout comes out okay since I did them a little larger this time.

Thanks Poeticly! Your twistouts are always lovely so if you add rods it will definitely be on point!

Thanks DVA! I didn't care for the suave naturals either. I've cut down some on buying new stuff and trying to just repurchase what has worked for my hair.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Ok so I read the post above the pics...
Yes, I use products that I dont like so I can use them up. I dont care for Giovanni TTT or Giovanni 50:50 (both conditioners) so every once in a while I try to use them. I have decided to just throw away the Giovanni 50:50 shampoo (30% left in the bottle)....that stuff is just awful!

Thanks for the compliment! I am not a fan of the Giovanni 50:50 either Didn't get the shampoo and I'm glad I didn't. I like the Giovanni TTT shampoo but the conditioner didn't work for me but it wasn't as bad as the 50:50. That stuff was like clay it just would not absorb into my hair.

nice twists and yes, I use products I don't like just to get rid of them. I have KCCC and KCNT in my closet and I'm figuring what style can I do to get rid of them....wash and go will NOT be one of them!!

Hey CrissyQ, My hair is black. Does it look a different color? I used to have highlights when I was relaxed but I let them grow out and then cut the rest of them out when I bc'd.

Thank you QB! Since I consider Lynnie to be the twist queen it is an honor to me for anyone to compare my hair to hers

Hey Coco, I've heard of some naturals using KCCC for their twists for hold when it didn't work for them for a wash n go.
