Well I took my twists down yesterday and wore a twistout but I didn't take pics before going to work and then I went to my first Zumba class after work. Needless to say my twistout was busted . I did get my workout on which is a plus since I've been slacking. This morning I got up and walked 9.18 miles per my pedometer.

So....you got your Zumba on!!! Don't you just love Zumba? Sorry for so many questions, but how long did it take you to walk 9.18 miles? Just curious....wondering if I'm doing the right things. It takes me 30 minutes to walk 1.48 miles. (don't laugh) LOL okay you can cause it is funny!!

Hey KNH! Yes I love Zumba and had fun doing it! 30 Minutes for 1.48 miles KNH, okay we are gonna need to work on that (lol)! Were you talking on your cell phone while you were walking or did you stop and buy something Just Kidding, just pick up your pace a little. Well I went to this park here called Stone Mountain and I walked up and down the mountain and its 1.3 miles up and 1.3 back down. Then I walked around the mountain which is 5 miles and then I had to walk up a trail back to my car. I started around 6:30 yesterday morning and when I got back to my car it was maybe 8:15. So between 1 1/2 to 2 hours but I wasn't rushing or timing myself.

Yes I'm sore from Zumba and walking yesterday morning. I guess I was trying to torture myself this weekend (lol)! I will be over to check out your pics later and I told you that your hair was growing!

This week my hair has been extremely itchy and felt gunky( I don't think that's a word) but I felt like I had a lot of build up. So today was wash day for me. I pre-pooed with Olive Oil for two hours and shampooed with Giovanni TT Shampoo. I decided to do an ACV rinse for the first time because my scalp was really bothering me. I've read that you should use 1 tbsp for every cup of water. So I used 3tbsps of ACV to 3 cups of water. I've never done this before so I shampooed first then used the ACV rinse before I added my DC to my hair.

My scalp feels so much relief since I used the ACV rinse so I will be adding this to my routine at least once a month. I also noticed a definite tightening in my curl pattern also after using this rinse. Today I attempted to do flat twists again and I did it!! I flat twisted both the right and left sides of my hair and did two strand twists on the rest of my hair. They're not perfect but I will get better the more I practice. I used my Afroveda Shea Amla and Pur Whipped Gelly to twist. So here are some pics:

Hey Curls Galore, Keep practicing and it will get better. I just kept looking at different YT vids and watching how they move their hands. I did mine on damp hair. I let my hair air dry for about 5-6 hours before I started to twist. I actually had to spritz the sides of my hair with a little water because this is the area of my hair that is really coarse and dry and it always dries before the rest of my hair.
