3 Months Transitioning! Ready For BC (ohio)

Last relaxer was 0ct 24th. My hair is about 2-3 inches all over my head. I'm so ready to BC. yes Im nervous it might be a bit short. But i have very defined spirals and the products to define my curls and ROCK IT!
My (relaxed) hair is so dry and sheds so much. I just dont care anymore!

I love in the Columbus Ohio area and I was wondering if anyone knows any hair stylist that could do a GREAT job on my BC. Im scared they will cut more than they need to so i want to be careful, thats all Im worried about right now.

A girl named Amy on Dublin Center Dr Dublin at Salon lofts is the only person I have heard of but Im so unsure.

I live in columbus!!! I just did my BC last saturday I transitioned for a year *whew* my friend cut my hair off. Honestly, I could've done it myself, and you probably could too-if you felt comfortable enough. But I went to a woman named Karen for a while; she specializes in natural hair. She actually works at a Salon Loft in Whitehall. I really liked her, she knows a lot about natural hair and gives good advice.

*edit* I just looked at the Synergi site, I think I'll just go to my regular stylist to get my permed ends cut off if I don't just have my mom do it, I trust her, and I don't know that I trust everything I read on that website.

Yea I havent gone there in a while, I basically went just to get an idea of what to do. Between that and looking online I kinda did my own thing; and I'm happy with my results [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] But I definitely understand what you mean about having someone you trust cut your ends. Its too much of a serious act to let a stranger do it. Thats why I had my good friend do it. Good luck with the rest of your journey!!!!

woot some more Ohio ladies. I planned on BCing in April but then again I would have to do it myself but then again I could go to a salon in columbus I live about an hour away. Or I could wait until june and have my stylist do it. In other words, I so conflicted.

@ KinkyKurls4Krystal Your hair is so cute!! My friend that is also natural goes to Karen. I know that new clients can only schedule appt's on Monday's, at least for their first appt. Anyways, love the hair!!

I transitioned 4 months and self BC'd. Check out BlackOnyxx77 on YouTube. She has a video showing you how to do your own BC. If you are still nervous about it, I wish you luck in finding a salon/stylist you are comfortable with.
