It's getting so hard...I think that buying products has been what I've enjoyed most about going natural. It has helped me save at least $100 in the month of January...so I'm glad I'm doing it.. Smile

[quote="traveljunkie08"]Ladies, most of us are closing in on the end of the first month of our challenge! Congrats to those who haven't had any slip ups or setbacks!!! For those of us, including me, that have, don't fret! We still have plenty of time to stay on track. Very Happy

@KNH: I kinda get why QB made you fall off the wagon with their whole out of stock thing, order fulfillment time and wanting to get your money's worth since you're paying for shipping. So I don't think your slip up was that bad.

NubieNattyTwn-kisha wrote:yea kinky cuz by the time u get ur qhemets the challenge will be over, lol.

we have 2 more months left guys! i just tallied my wish list with a total of $182. i've already saved $110 so far. i think my condish's will definitely get used this summer cuz i plan on w-n-g's every other day when it gets hot.

this challenge is definitely helping me now cuz my realtor told me if all goes well i can close on my condo by end of feb or march! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

@traveljunkie08 - thanks girl..cause I was really feeling bad!! Very Happy

@Nubie - I was lucky with my first order from Qhemet..I got it in 5 days; however, I'm not looking for it to come that fast this time. Oh...congratulations on your savings...I added up my wish list and it came to about $160 in products (before tax and shipping) and if I subtract what I ordered from Qhemet I saved about $93 this month. So I don't feel too bad!!!

Congratulations on your condo!!! cheers

Its weird [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . I kinda wish my hair were as picky as others. I see people talking about low porosity, protein overload....and I dont have that problem. I just grab whatever looks and smells good and use it. I haven't had a setback at all and my hair is growing on track with where it should be.

I am happy to report I can mark two more things off my list. The Doo Grow Oil - I poured it down the sink, and the KBB hair butter - it wasnt enough to really do anything with so I added it to my new shea butter mix. WooHoo!!!

@snappynappy: I'm glad you finally posted your list. Smile Are there things on your list that you know you won't use that you can give away (either to others or a women's shelter)? That has helped several of us scratch things off our list.

I can honestly give any of it away. However I am not aware of a woman's shelter in the area, but if I find one I will give it up for those who may need it more. I would like to give some to my sisters when they are ready to start their healthy hair journey but until then I am not giving up products to be wasted.

The thing is it all works for me. Nothing has failed me yet. I dont have a holy grail per se, there are things that I prefer over others but not in a "HG" kinda way.
