My henna stash Empty My henna stash

Post by NylaCoils 14th December 2009, 6:52 pm

I went to my local Indian grocery and I bought herbs that I dont even know how to use!

I got Dulhan henna (2 packs)
Heenara-
Amla
Aritha
Shikakai

I plan on reading up on how to use these!

All I spent was 12.00!

If anyone needs me to get them some and mail it let me know. Each pack is 1.99 and I could probably mail it to you for less than 3 priority mail.

My henna stash Empty Ayurvedic Powders

Post by ChrsLvsBks 17th December 2009, 11:09 am

Amla – you can make a paste and apply it to your hair for a DC; make a tea with it and use it as a rinse out; you can use it on your face as a mask

Shikakai – you should mix it with the amla or another ayurvedic herbs known for its conditioning effects; it can dry your hair if used alone

Good sites to visit with a lot of information is longhaircareforum and naturallycurly. This is where I found out about ayurvedic powders. I have used a variety of them since August. I like amla and shikakai mixed.
