Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! Didn't realize so much went into it until I sat down to actually write it! So even if you are the only one that appreciates the wig/girl tutorial...it was well worth it! Maybe down the line you'll consider getting a "girl" for yourself and can look back at this tutorial!!!

OOOOH, thank you so much Freestyle for the wig ("girls") tutorial. It was perfect. I especially liked the TIME CRUNCH section. I wish we could post this on the transition page. Maybe you should submit this to Curlynikki for the Transition thread. Do not let all that hardwork just benefit me....lol

Day#8

I ended up wearing Avah (the girl I used in the earlier wig tutorial) to church today. I figured I might as well since I was already using her for the tutorial. She was a big hit!

Tonight I spritzed a fine mist of distilled water all over, sealed ends with BNB Shea Butter Coco-Mango, used Bee Mine Growth Serum on scalp, rubbed a bit of BNB Shea Butter Watermelon on top of cornrows, added IC Fantasia gel to edges, put on headband to smooth edges, and placed satin bonnet on! Took 10 minutes, tops!

DAY#10
Hey, Hey, Hey!

Last night I was BEAT! I did nothing with my hair, didn't even put a satin bonnet on, just jumped in the bed and immediately went to sleep! The good news is that I feel pretty well rested this morning...I coulda still used another few hours though *wink*


I just applied BNB Shea Butter to my ends, spritzed with distilled water, and put a bit of Bee Mine Serum on my scalp, and heading back to the J-O-B even though I feel like I just left there!

Ok, so Freestyles- I am a bit of a lurker on the BNB board! I dont know how I missed yours- Love the "girls" !!!!

I have a few "girls", myself! I wore one today! I am trying to do more protective styles ! I call the one I wear Nyla! Nyla Coils! She is a 3c.. 1/2 wig
Then I have a straight hair bob 1/2 wig- I call her Sasha Straight! I always gravitate towards NYLA!
With Sasha, it makes me feel like I am cheating on my hair! Nyla doesn't make me feel like I am a cheating!

OMGoodness NylaCoils! I was having the same conversation with my co-worker this evening. Though I love all of my girls, I always gravitate towards my textured beauties. When I wear my girls that are let's say...straight and long....I definitely feel like I'm cheating on my napps! And I notice that the way I'm viewed from the opposite sex changes as well. I love switching it up for variety's sake but don't get it twisted...I LOVE MY NAPPS!

BeeMine Serum on scalp, BNB Shea Butter-Sun-Ripened Strawberry on ends, Homemade Spritz all over, IC Fantasia on edges, tied down, satin bonnet. BEDTIME!

On a different note, I've got to get my diet game together before the new year (not much time left I know). I've been giving my hair TLC, but my body is still being neglected. Eating junk everyday, limited water intake, and not taking my Biotin & MSM. I've gotta do better!

Good morning ladies....

Well I loaded up my hair with BNB Shea Butter this morning and my homemade spritz. I think I was way too heavy handed with the Shea Butter though...

The fact that my hair is going under my girl, definitely saves the day! I plan on washing Thursday night, but we'll see!

I almost forgot to tell you guys...I had a horrible dream last night! I was applying shea butter to my braid ends and one by one, each end broke off in my hands as I applied the shea! I mean really, like inches of braids in my hands! In the dream I wasn't upset or even shocked, just bummed that I had to take more time to grow that hair back all over again!I removed my bonnet with the quickness this morning just to make sure it was a dream & my hair was still in tact! Any dream interpreters out there? This definitely proves I have hair on the brain way too much!
