Dry two strand twist
Hi ladies,
I have been wearing two strand twist throught the week, and they are working well for me. I do them wet using ORC twist and loc get and shea butter. I want to try the twist dry. The only reason why I do them wet is because that is the only way they stay together. When they are dry they unravel! How do I remedy this ladies?

Re: Dry two strand twist
Try twisting in the opposite direction of how you normally twist. I am right handed and would twist to my left, twisting to the right made a big difference.
Some start out braiding then twist.
Another thing to try is twisting the two strands before twisting them together. It is hard to explain but I will try. Once you separate your hair, take one section and twist it to the right, then take the other section and twist it to the left. Twist the strands together ensuring the sections stay twisted in their original direction.

Do you add your product while twisting? If you want to twist on dry hair, adding the product as you twist might help them to stay together.
Re: Dry two strand twist
Using a butter or a thick product as I dry twist helps them stay together and not unravel too much..
