Flat twist vs 2 strand twist for transitioning
As a 7 1/2 month transitioner, I find the flat twist to be more effective in blending the natural and relaxed hair. The majority of my hair is relaxed and that hair is resistant to curling. This is the case whether I twist with a gel consistency, butter consistency, cream consistency, and I am now trying combos. Also, I use rollers on the twists, but same thing. I guess the relaxed hair is just too soft and relaxed at this stage and I need to revisit 2 strand twists in the future. .Has anyone else experienced this? If you found a solution, my ears are wide open.

Absolutely. Flat twists were a life saver during my transitioning days. Two strands did not work at all but work very well now.
