Re: Twist Challenge anyone?
I will twist with you! I missed the "hidden hair" challenge and I was planning on keeping Drusilla/Maverick twisted until it got warmer or sometime after Spring Break.

Re: Twist Challenge anyone?
I'll join! I've been keeping my hair in twists for the winter, and today I am getting the front braided and the back twisted! Yayyy for twists lol. I need to find some updo's to do though. I feel like my hair is too short to do it!

Re: Twist Challenge anyone?
I'm in I started this KISS method in November and I have seen growth better yet retain length. My hair grows but I always have to cut it due to single strand knots. I have a TWA so I do not pin them up, I wear a wig (have a few of them) a hide my hair challenge so to speak. Also, I do mine weekly because my hair will try to loc at 9 days besides I workout and sweat to much not to shampoo and retwist thereafter, so my routine will be on a weekly basis. However, I am using rubber bands soaked in olive oil very loosely on each twist think little picktails and I am going to see if I can keep my twists in place while I wash and deep condition. I want to see if this will reduce my detangling time.

One more thing, if I do not do twists, it will be finger coils like my avatar, but it will still be hidden under my wigs until April; then I will re-evaluate my progress. I so excited to join this challenge. I always miss the hide your hair challenge.

May I join? I've been looking for a twist challenge. I've been twisting and hiding under wigs. I recently learned to do rope twists or a twist within a twist is a better explanation. I've worn my hair out the first time this weekend and by Wednesday or Thursday I'll be retwisting. This is a great start for the year for me!

Re: Twist Challenge anyone?
I am still twisted and was getting bored but I may be able to hang on! I have started putting a couple of drops of lemon oil in my curl activators because I do not like the scent. Now I wake up and cannot wait to see what scent I will choose for that day. Here is my routine
cowash nightly
add coconut oil
spray with a mix of water and leave-in
add activator
spray with water and leave-in again
seal with sunflower oil
The next morning, I spray with water and leave-in mix
seal with oil
pin my hair up and go
