OMGoodness...

I was caught up with American Idol last night I missed ALL of this!!!

IB...your hubby is AWESOME!!! I was holding back the tears as I read how he was with you through all of the steps of your BC!!!

I love your curls and can't wait to see your new style!!!!

I went to Sleep last night, hoping you would get to BC with no worries. Then I wake up this morning and what do I find?!?

Shocked LOOK AT ALL THAT HAIR!!!! Miss lady you don't even know how excited I am for you!!! I'm so glad you got all the love and supported you needed to go forth and be free from those relaxed ends! It feels good doesn't it?? I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair and I am so happy that hubby was so helpful
woot! Now the real journey begins!

I posted pics last night as a separte thread, which is not what I meant to do. But was too exhausted to figure it out.... IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_lol .

STYLE CHOSEN THE DOUBLE STRAND TWIST WITH ROD SET:

My experience was very pleasant. I am so glad it was done this way. My husband was awesome. IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_cheers He saw the youtube video and said there is no way she was able to cut that hair in 10 mins and do it right.... IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_lol At the end of everything, I think he was right IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_eek . It was such a process to get the permed hair out but he did everything: The BC, the wash and condition I had to wash again after rinsing out overnight DC because the hair was tangled and I had the nerve to put in that gritty marshmallow root powder. So pooed with diluted Revlon detangler and conditioned with AO HSR. He cut again then cowashed with Suave then with AO HSR condish. Leave in condish was HE Hello hydration (1st time using) and my whipped shea/oil mix to seal. Also applied castor oil to my scalp. I didnt touch my hair at all until it was time to style because my DH had it . IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_lol He was great IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_cheers . Though he made little comments here and there saying: "GOODBYE, BEAUTIFUL PERMED HAIR. I WILL MISS YOU." But yet he was all into it, he said his years of doing hair kicked in... IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_lol .
My first impression of my hair at first look it was YES!!! I LOVE IT!!! IT FITS MY FACE AND MY PERSONALITY!!!! I CAN ROCK THIS!!!

We were finished with the BC at about 9:30pm but because I neglected my hair for 2-3 days. I was paying for it. The hair was so knotted and tangled. So I took me 2 and half hours to detangle, twist and roll. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN WILL I NEGLECT MY HAIR IN THAT WAY!!!! IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Kopfschuettel .
I am so happy this morning. I was praying to the Lord and just telling him thank you for making me, and all of me. And I will never again, look at myself or others physical appearance in a boxed light. We are all different and there is beauty in all of us. We need to look at people THAT WAY. IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 Icon_flower .

Anyhoo, my hair will remain in the twist n rod set until tomorrow because it is rain/snowing over here all day today. I will unravel tomorrow because I have a busy day.

KeishaMac, I am so happy I inspired you to BC early. You will look beautiful and you are ready. IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 678474 It is so important to have information on this beforehand. It just makes it alot easier.

I have to give MAHOGANY CURLS AND xGOLDn some HUGE HUGS AND LOVE for all they do for us. Taking the time to make videos and tutorials about their experience and this process. It made all the difference in MY WORLD. IntelligentBeauty;-) - Page 32 678474
