@ChrsLvsBks - when you buy flour sacks - does it actually say "flour sacks" on the label of the item?

I just watched the Trey Songz video...that boy is so cute!
Anywho, the girl's hair was cute! Was it a side hawk though? It looked like there was more hair on her left side vs. in the middle. Either way it looked good. Post pics of your brunch hawk!!

Flour Sacks in Kitchen Department at WalMart
I get mine from WalMart. There were with the kitchen towels. They are labeled flour sacks.BlondeByDesire wrote:@ChrsLvsBks - when you buy flour sacks - does it actually say "flour sacks" on the label of the item?

Chrs....I LOVE YOUR HAIR. It is SO pretty.
You guys make me feel bad. I need to do something different! Your hair is SO shiny. I must be doing something wrong.

Re: ChrsLvsBks - Comparison Pictures - Page 43
To achieve the frohawk, I prepped my hair the night before. I spritzed until damp with strong tea. I then sectioned my hair into three parts horizontally. Those three parts were sectioned into two. I applied DB's hair milk then Afroveda's oil followed by DB's transitioning cream. (I am trying to see if adding oil after leave in helps my hair retain moisture. I did something like this in summer while wearing WnGs. I don't recall why I stopped.) Sorry for the rambling. I applied same products to each smaller section and twisted.
The next morning my hair was nearly dry. I untwisted each twist and applied Joie's MyGel using a raking motion from root to tip to ensure strands were coated. This helped to clump the curls. After all the twists were removed, I sectioned off the part of the hump.
I applied about a dime size of the gel to my hands and smoothed in into the right side of my hair. I used my fingertips to kinda work in the gel some more. I used the middle of my eye as a guide for large bobby pin placement. I used my right hand to pin my hair. I placed about five bobby pins on each side. At the nape, the hair met closer together and as you moved up my head, the hair was farther apart. Also the pins openings were facing up (remember I go from the nape to the front) and as I got closer to the front I changed them so the opening was directed to the nape. I repeated on the other side.
Once done, I created my hump. I pull my hair forward to straighten it. I then pull it back to determine where I want my hump to lay. I begin to twist a little before the halfway mark. I did not twist it all the way so the curls could be incorporated into the 'hawk.
I will try to take pictures and edit this post. It is hard to explain but believe me it is not hard to do. The style took less than 15 minutes.

Hey Chrs, wouldn't it have been easier to do that frowhawk with a banana clip. Yours look great, but description sounds like alot.

I am not sure if my hair will go into a banana clip. I remember using one a few years back and the darn thing broke at some point during the day . I may revisit it again. The description sounds harder than doing it.Intelligentbeauty wrote:Hey Chrs, wouldn't it have been easier to do that frowhawk with a banana clip. Yours look great, but description sounds like alot.
