Tried it and I love it! Mine is modified because I don't use Kinky Kurly. Instead, I substituted with Giovanni Direct Leave In. I also tried it with Desert Essence Organic Coconut condish. My hair feels great and the oils really kick the moisture up a notch! Give it a try! You'll like it, too!

Re: ........
I tried out the leave in mixture and all I can say is wow . I was wondering what everyone was feeling when they said they notice a difference as soon as it was applied and I did to
My hair clumped together and formed "S" curls , I was so shocked ..never knew thoes exsisted in my hair LOL.
Then I twisted my hair up, I was also shocked that I was able to do medium sized twist and the ends wasn't puffy
This is mos' def a staple!

Days later (4 to be exact) my hair is still soft! She really needs to bottle this stuff.
Re: ........

Her recipe calls for:
1 oz Knot Today Leave-In
2 tablespoons of (Whole leaf version) Aloe Vera Juice with a pH 4.0 or 4.5
2 teaspoons of Castor Oil
2 teaspoons of Jojoba Oil
Mix well.
I did the exact amounts that the recipe calls for. (1 fluid ounce = 2 tablespoons)

No problem, she lists the ingredients in the description so I figured you must not have been able to view it. The recipe is so simple that you don't need to watch the vid to make. Just mix well and use immediately and you are good to go.
Great side effect: my nails are awesome. So smooth, shiny, and healthy. Must be the jojoba oil
Re: ........
I made the mix and substituted the KCKT for Curl Junkie Beauticurls LI and JBCO. Hair's looking good today [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . I made it with 3 oz of LI so I'm hoping it lasts a while. Curls curls everwhere [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] !

Re: ........
I used the Leave-In Sunday on my hair, but I only had the Inner Fillet aloe vera juice not the whole leaf......I think that might have made a difference. It smelled great, but I wasn't super impressed......I'm still looking for the whole leaf aloe juice. I guess thats what I get for deviating from the recipe LOL

Ok, help me out. are you applying it to wet hair? if so, once you apply it are you using anything else after that? With my TWA I am thinking
1. co-wash
2. apply leave in
3. and go
Does this sound right?

Thatsounds right but I'm wondering if you might still need to seal. Not sure since there are oils mixed in already. Probably can't hurt though.

I would still apply my oil.

When I used it yesterday, I applied the leave in on wet hair, then I did
large twist. After it dried about 85-90%, I applied Koils By Nature
Citrus Bliss and Eucalyptus gel.
Next time I will apply my
butter after the product absorbs into my hair (about 30-40% dry).

I sealed with Organics Clove and Olive oil - that was it. I don't pile on product so I would not used more than that on an average styling day anyway.
Re: ........
@CrissyQ - Just checked out the video again and read some comments about the leave in mix. Kimmaytube doesn't use anything after applying the leave in. You need to probably do what's best for your hair. Try it both ways and see what works better.
Here is a post from Kimmaytube's leave in video about using other products after applying the mix. HTH.
Greetings! When using the leave-in-conditioner, after washing and deep conditioning... do you use anything to moisturize and style your hair; ie: shea butter, & an oil., etc?

@wamj68
Nope. I use nothing else. I only use Shea Butter if I want to stretch out my hair. Or if I'm going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time (it provides some protection from the sun's UV rays)
Shea Butter is a fat that just sits on top of the hair like a coating. It can dull the hair. It blocks out water, so I only use it close to my wash day, if at all.
Applying water to hair for moisturizing, while shea butter is still left on is a recipe for crunchy hair.
