HEY! TWISTS! I tried that style like on sunday...BUT i cant flat twist! lol..but im ready to see your style!!! AND YAY FOR STUBBLE! (i know im late) Im so interested in Henna...anywho Happy Thanksgiving!

Its find ckf I'm still celebrating!!! I can't flat twist either but I'm just gonna twist my twists like a flat twist..if that makes sense. Like in one of my pics with them twisted in the front just in a different direction..lol. I'm gonna keep playing with henna cuz I like the color. I'm also gonna try Amla next month that's when the store gets its next shipment.

I BC'ed november 26th 2008. So today is my 1 year nappiversary!!! YAY Me!!!

I didn't have any success with the flat twists. So I pinned up the sides. anyways. I put some Suave and olive oil on what was left of my twists to soften up so I can take them down so i picked them apart (with my fingers of course) then lightly finger detangled and put in big twists with some extra conditioner.

So since I have a plastic cap on and wrapped a towel around it. So in the morning I'm going to deep condish with something a little richer and detangle. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do after that.

ok hair update. hair still looks good it's not as soft as it was yesterday. I got up and scrunched some coconut oil into it before I left. So no changes there.

I did go to whole foods for the first time yesterday. I got
Giovanni products for $4.99 thats the price until 12/1.

Now my plan was not to purchase but just to browse but I know that is a good price for Giovanni. Also one of the ladies at the meet up said that Giovanni has gift sets of shampoo and condish at target for 7.99 approximately so it's like by one get one. so be sure to check it out.

Okay Lovely ladies. I am about to retwist my lovely hair. I'm not sure how it's gonna work out but I think I'm gonna stick with castor oil and shea butter I might dilute the castor oil with almond oil. This is truly an experiment here.

I'll let you all know how it turns out tomorrow.

I also need to plan what products to take on my vacation. I am limited to one bag on the train.

Ok I retwisted my hair. It doesnt have the uniform curl like it did with the wet twists. More frizz than I like and some of it is...crooked instead of wavy or crinkled if that makes sense.

My hair is soft but oily..lol Heavy hand I have with products. So I don't know I sorta want to rewash but tonight is my long night Bible study and choir rehearsal. Plus I am wondering if I should twist my hair before I get on the train. The weather may not be hair friendly when I arrive in Chi-town.

I was stalking the site while I was traveling but I didnt post anything go figure. anyways i wore a puff yesterday i got up this morning and moisturized and put in big twists to stertch my hair but i will definitely wash mt hair tonight.

Its cold here. This is the only official vacation I have had all year. No family for miles. Irts nice to get away especially when your family is close-knit.

I'm back at home getting back into the swing of things.

Well I did wash my hair while on vacation. Twisted and wore it for 2 days and did a twist out.

But the most interesting thing that happened was being to play in my best friends hair. She is transitioning...YAY. She has been going back and forth for some years but I think she is going to make it this time. She only has about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of relaxed hair.

But my goddaughter is completely natural and she was wearing twists when they picked me up. I was so excited.

Last Wednesday I did a henna gloss..it was pretty cool. I thinned the mixture out too much but it worked. I unthawed my leftover mixture added some Meijer brand Hello Hydration, some olive oil, honey and VO5. I wet my hair then put it on put on a plastic cap and a towel for a lil over an hour. Then I washed with Giovanni Shampoo and Condish. The condish wasn't slippery enough for detangling. After rinsing I put in Giovanni leave in (I like it) and castor oil to seal.

I had good color deposit too. I think I will alternate between the henna and henna gloss.

ok here are the pics from my bestie's hair. I french braided on blow
dried hair using a moisturizer. Yes that is foil on the ends. She was wondering if it would keep her relaxed ends together and we curled them under just to see if it would work. It didn't..lol She put mousse on them and rolled them. If you notice on the style pics
it's a lil frizzy in spots.

I detangled, washed, conditioned, acv, moisturized and french braided my hair.

Here it is..we'll see how it looks in the morning..
