I did another twist updo for church yesterday that was inspired by some loc styles I look at last week. Then on Sunday night I changed this updo into a pin curl updo to wear during the week. I really like. My Hubby told me I looked like a grown up with the pin curls. I will post those pics when I get home this evening. But for now...here is Sunday's hair:



This style was pretty quick and easy. I will definitely do this again.

Thanks! I am most shocked at the fact that I made it past a week without washing. I am usually itching (literally) for a wash.

The aloe gro is supposed to stimulate growth but I like it for its moisturizing properties. I don't believe that products grow hair-I believe that proper care results in length. I still like the mix and I am planning to use it until the weather warms.

Cute updo! I'm trying to be a good protective style wearer LOL

Somewhere on the forums I was talking about the problems I was having with my Hubby's flakes. All these YEARS we thought he had a really bad dandruff problem. Come to find out the itching and flaking was irritation due to leftover residue from washing. We found this out because I was spritzing his roots with water preparing him for a wash when I went to knock some flakes out.....suds formed! I said "Um, you didn't rinse out all the shampoo and these flakes are the color of the shampoo you used"

So I mixed some ACV and baking soda in a spray bottle and had DH wash with that. I told him "Don't use shampoo or conditioner".

It has been a week and he is still flake free and itching less. He's gonna fuss if he finds out I posted this, LOL, but I hope this helps someone else.

I may have to try this with my hubby...his has gotten better since I have switched products (he uses whatever I have), but the ACV may help even more.

No, no feature. Personally I think my styles are boring but you ladies are slowly bringing me out of that. I really truly honestly appreciate all of you.

I like this style because it was quick and it is so easy to sleep in. I will be wearing hats starting tomorrow because we got an extra casual day (yay).
