Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
So i thought I'd giving dusting a try and I clipped about 1/4 of an inch of hair off my ends when i did my twists....I actually really needed to do it because I wanted to get a trim after my first 6 months of being natural...so since im at my 9 month period i decided to go ahead and do it. I actually noticed a difference after I dusted my ends. I STILL have some straight ends, its not from relaxer its from my heat damage so in the front its REALLY bad, but in the back i pretty much clipped the straight ends...

Your hair looks great as usual, but I must say your skin is looking fab too!
Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
thanks girl, actually i realized that i was getting breakouts from the products i was using in my hair...i was using all these products then washing my hair in the shower and the products were running in my face...so i developed a new washing routine and started using a new face wash and its gotten alot better

Well whatever it is, it looks good! I see you're getting your Michelle Obama on ~lol~ (her skin is flawless, if I didn't think she was so great I'd hate her ) My skin has been clearing up lately too, but I think I need more sun. My mom laughed at me when I told her I was helping her garden in hopes of getting a tan because I haven't been this "pale" since I came out.
Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
LOL @ pale!! ha ha thats funny....so hows your dad acting, is that getting better?

Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
good morning lovelies, I plan on doing a scalp massage tonight, since I started the twist pin up challenge i usually oil and massage my scalp every wednesday...Ive noticed scalp massages for me really do some good..its said that they increase the blood flow and circulation in turn increasing hair growth, i dont know about all that but i know my scalp likes it, plus it feels good
I cant WAIT to wear my hair out this weekend...i think im gonna put my perm rods on my twists tomorrow night so it can be a curly fro type deal for saturday
I will post pics to show you ladies!

Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
Morning BSD
I haven't been by in a while... I just wanted to stop in as say that you've done a great job with twisting your hair during the challenge. Also, congratulations on making 9 month natural
I do a S&D now...I would trim my ends every 6 to 8 weeks, and Lynn aske the question "How did I plan to retain my length if I was trimming my ends so often" Not an exact quote but close...so I'm trying the search and discovery method now. Will see how that works for me!!
I will check in more often!!
Have a great day!!
