Oh I meant to tell yall, I measured my hair last night, and its pretty much 8 inches all around...Im very excited. I follow Kimmaytube on youtube, and Ive been doing alot of protective styles like she suggests and Ive noticed that has made a difference in my hair growth. Im going to post some pics this week so you all can see the growth over the past few months...i may actually do that closer to my one year

Hey Ladies,

Im not superstitious AT ALL..but I tell you the devil has been busy all day today! I woke up this morning, headed downstairs to go to work and I had a ticket on my car from a tow company, apparently someone scratched the year decal off of my FLORIDA tag (mind you i live in VA),so the ticket was saying my car will get towed tomorrow because I have an "expired" tag...so now I guess Im going to get my VA plates and license today

Ive just been having a really trying day ALL day, and I keep praying, I even shed a few tears, but Im feeling better....keep me in your prayers ladies

Good Morning Lovelies!!!

This Weeks News:

Im super excited, Im starting back up on my workout/health regimen. Im giving myself 2 months to lose 20 pounds. I wanted to give myself ample amount of time to comfortably drop and KEEP it off, so I hopefully I lose it faster than 2 months but we shall see. I plan on working out at least 5 days out of the week and eating no pork, beef, and fried foods. Wish me well

My One Year Naturalversary is approaching soon! Im super excited yall I will prob take pics and do something funky like a blowout or something like that to my hair

LIFE

The devil tested me but I mellowed down friday and saturday went and got the VA tags, so now my car has VA plates....Im feeling much better now because I was totally frazzled but the hubby helped me feel better

Just wanted to check in, Im wearing my work week bun


Im trying to continue using less manipulation during the week, so I can ensure growth and less tangles.
My detangling has been ALOT easier since ive started wearing more protective styles, I have also noticed that my hair is growing at a good pace when I manipulate it less.

Lola looks FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry about the recent tribulations but you are in GREAT hands.
