Hey KNH! Went out of town to visit my family for Christmas but I'm back home now and I only have to work two days this week so I'm having some time off and a mini-vacation!

When I see your hair, I always want to reach through the screen to touch it. It looks touchably soft.

Re: Krazy Coils,
Happy New Year Ladies and thank you for the compliments!
I've talked about my issues with shampoo before and how I've stopped using it as much as I used to. Since I've started working out more frequently again I'm back to washing my hair once a week instead of once every two weeks. Instead of using shampoo I am co-washing weekly again. I am using ACV rinse once every two weeks as a final step for Ph Balance and also to help with any buildup. Once a month I am doing a betonite clay treatment to also help with buildup.
So far so good and this is working for me. The co-washing is definitely helping me deal with any tangles and my hair coiling around itself which is what happens when I use shampoo. Also I am back to my ayurvedic treatmenst which also help with detangling for me. Once every two weeks I do an Amla, Brahmi, Maka paste. I am going to try shampoo bars again to see how that works for me since the ones I have don't contain the same ingredients as shampoo to see how those work again as well. So right now shampoo is going to be used on an as needed basis when I have a lot buildup and as long as I don't have any scalp problems. If I do I will use a really diluted version.
Also I have added Oyin Hair dew as a leave-in conditioner and daily moisturizer to my regimen and I use the Burnt Sugar pomade to seal my hair. I love these two products. The hair dew is really moisturizing to my hair and the burnt sugar pomade has replace castor oil as my sealant. They both not only smell good but the hair dew adds moisture and the pomade seals and adds a sheen to my hair. I will definitely repurchase both products. Sorry for the long post but here are some hair pics:
Chunky braidout:
I also forgot to post my results from the 3 month growth challenge I was in. I don't have my starting pics but it seems like I've had about an inch or an 1 1/2 inches of growth. I see the most growth on the sides of my hair which are touching shoulder length since I don't remember them being near my shoulder before. Anywho my hair is pretty much layered and different lengths all over:
Past Chin length for the front/bang area:
The sides are touching shoulder length and some areas are almost collarbone length:
The back has always grown the fastest even when I was relaxed and I appear to be full APL in the back of my hair:
My hair goals for 2011:
1. Keep hair healthy and retain all growth
2. Front and sides of hair to reach full APL
3. I think BSL is the next length after APL for the back of my hair.
4. I may straighten my hair on my two year anniversary.

Re: Krazy Coils,
O wow, look at your hair! can I have it? it is so purty. When you straighten it it is going to look great. All I can sy is keep up the good work, I wish my hair was thick like yours.

Hey Jlow and thank you! I tried to resist buying the Hair Dew also but I failed, but I'm loving it now!
Re: Krazy Coils,
Hey KC! Look at all that hair...awesome growth! The Hair Dew and Burnt Sugar Pomade are now staples for me as well. Next time I'll be ordering the larger sizes.
Re: Krazy Coils,
Hey KC! I haven't been by in awhile.
That chunky braidout is to die for.
I "envy," your hair.
You have a great length.
