Good Morning, Ladies!

What it do, this Wednesday morning?

Man, I called myself going to get on here and add pics last night. Well, as you can see, that did not happen! I got home, did stuff I needed to do, finally got comfy...had the computer and CSI-Los Angeles (I'd never watched this, so I was giving it a shot)...next thing I know...it was 2:53 a.m.! WTH? Oh, but it felt so good!

I shall try again this evening! LMAO

Oh by the way....talked to an attorney he said we don't have a case. The hotel isn't liable for the actions of a third party. We would have to really prove that the hotel was negligence... **sigh** I've got to move on and get back to some type of normal living. So....anyway:|

Nothing new to report...just pics of twists and my make-up attempts! LOL

I plan to do mini-braids this weekend because I will (again) have surgery on my wrist. So...no playing in my hair for me for at least the next month!

Oh, I ran in Marshall's and Ross looking for YTCucumbers. They didn't have any, but I DID get some YTTomatoes Shampoo (it was $2.99...I HAD to get it), some YTC Body Butter (I feel so soft), and YTC Leave-in. All this was $10.99...I was pleased. Ross had Jane Carter products, but I'm cool on them, not matter the price! LOL

SN: The Man was watching me twist...talking about he wants to be sure he can do it when I can't use my hand! Aint that cute?!? But, I really think NOT! The braids will have to do, but he can oil my scalp! LOL

One thing I've learned to accept about my hair: It's deceptive. LOL It looks so thick, but it's really kinda fine. But, even in my relaxed days...any stylist who did my hair would always say I didn't need a perm. Can you believe that? Beauticians told me that...and you know "they about they" money! But, did I listen? Nooooo! I thought it was so "rough" and had to have that perm!

So...I'll never have twists like Krazy Coils or Lynnie or Bholmes...so thick...nope, not me! To be honest, that's how I envisioned my hair when I thought of being natural...big and thick. But, alas, I must take what belongs to me: kinky, coil-y, and fine! Hey...that describes me, too! LMAO

I pre-poo'd and detangled with my "moisture mix" (shea butter, sweet almond, castor and coconut oils, and aloe vera gel) and the Yes To Cucumbers leave-in.

I washed with the Yes to Tomatoes shampoo...I like it. It was kinda like jelly! LOL

I decided to use my Oyin. I conditioned with the Honey Hemp Condish...I like it. Checking the ingredients, it's pretty much the stuff my hair likes!

I used the Greg Juice, let it dry...used the Whipped Pudding for braiding! I hit my ends and scalp with the green tea spritz. I'm pleased. I wonder how long the braids will last? Hmmmm.

Girl my hair may look thick in a twist out or even in a blow out but let me twist it up it is so scalpy it's crazy. Hair is all deceptive and don't let me add the shrinkage. But looking good.

A gangsta for breast cancer! LOL! Ryl you are too much! Your braids look good. I can rarely bring myself to do that many but i did last night. I need to take a picture of my hair today. I've decided to abandon the Kimmaytube conditioner for now. I still use a leave-in but have decided to discontinue mixing with the oils. We'll see how that goes for now. I think i'm having less hang time because of it though.

Interesting your hair is fine and that our hair likes many of the same products. My hair has about medium thickness I have discovered. Whatever that means. LOL! I just know it's mine and we play together nicely these days! Good work. Can't wait to see that braid out!
