Well, I've been messing around with my hair since the twist out...I just wanted to see what it could do before I henna'd, washed, ect.

So...I finally did a puff! YAY!


Wait...I gotta back up!! From the intial twist out, I re-twisted, bigger twists...here's that and a bigger twist out...LOL

I liked this...I'll do bigger, dry twists again.

OK...NOW the puff! My first one...I think it came out pretty good! ;-)




On Sunday, I henna'd and twisted. My hair was very soft after the henna and DC--YAY! In fact, it was very soft...I'm not complaining, just confusted! LOL The twists were like twisting pressed hair...so you know the twist out was kinda shaky!


I don't know...I just wasn't feeling it.

So...Kinky Curly to the rescue (after I messed with it so much, I had to wet it)...



Today is KC Day 2. It was a lil crunchy! LOL But, I don't mind, it'll last longer! I applied my Lavish Curls Moisturizer and rubbed in, what else...KC Knot Today...all better...no crunch, but a whole lotta hold! I'll take that! After I wash this out, probably in a couple of days, I'll twist back up and play with those pins again.

Hey Ladies! I swear I'm about to fall apart...if it wasn't for crazy glue and tape, I don't know where I'd be! LOL

Anywho...I have just been messing with my hair...when all else fails, etc., etc.

Hair News...nothing much, which is good, right? It's currently twisted out! This is the last reincarnation from the Kinky Curly! I want to wash my hair, but, it's not product-filled and it's getting BIGGER as the days go by! But, this weekend, I will twist back up and play with pins because I want to keep the growth moving!



I stepped into Target the other day...and walked out with Curls' Goddess Curls...it's a gel. It says it can be used for wash n' gos (I'll see in the next week or two). I used it to re-twist my hair. I like it! It has hold, with no crunch...and I had minimal shrinkage, too. (It's the product used in the twist out above.) I have to try it a few more times, but so far, so good!

I've been cruising Curl Street...it's a lot going on: new folks, new names; beautiful hair...WOW! I love this place.

Me? I've been having a couple of health issues...nothing major, but warning signs that I must break some old habits! Hey, I aint 21 anymore! LOL

Hair News...My hair is thriving! It's growing and healthy! I'm very pleased. Just twisting and twist outs...nothing new...just trying to keep the growth coming! ;-)

Yes to Cucumbers Leave-in...a must try if you like the YTCuc condish. I've read folks saying you may as well use the regular condish since the ingredients are so similiar (which doesn't work for me because regular condish makes my hair itch and flake like crazy), so I was dying to try the leave-in. And guess what? I found it at Marshall's for $3.99! I've used it a while now...I really like it! It keeps my hair hydrated and soft (and I've used it on wet & dry hair). If you're in need of a good leave-in...give it a shot!

Hair is looking good mama . When doing a twist out after henna try larger/fatter twists. Your hair is pretty lomg amd may look better with larger twists. You are retaining your length.
