Re: TWA Growth Challenge
Just stopping by to say hi! You all look sooo great! So pretty!
Y'all should feel sorry for CurlyNattie. Her hair is growing so fast and she has NO IDEA HOW FAST! She's going to wake up with a fro soon. Poor thing! What's she going to do?
Jome, I bet once a week is good enough for detangling.

I used Qhemet burdock root butter creme and honeybush tea gel. I've heard Oyin Whipped Pudding and/or Burnt Sugar Pomade is good to twist with too.

shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, honey and water. it works like a charm for any style i do and my hair will stay moisturized for days. that is really my only product that i use other than ecostyler gel for wash n gos

Good Mornin Curlies
Well I finally did it!! I twisted my hair and I'm so excited!!! I washed, and DC'd my hair yesterday and decided to see if I could do it. The last time I tried my hair was to short cause they unraveled. So I am so pumped right now cause I can twist my hair!!!! However, I'm not ready to reveal them right now cause they're so short so I'm wearing a head wrap, but that fact that I can twist is great. I'm actually thinking of doing a challenge within this challenge. I want to see if I can keep it twisted for a month to keep my hands out of my hair. I will retwist once a week and leave it alone.

tresmom I didn't think my hair was long enough so I just took a chance I tried it yesterday. I used eco gel mixed with coconut oil. Give it a try.

Re: TWA Growth Challenge
JBCO gave me some extra thicker hair, (my hair was already thick before but gave it some more) but what has helped me is what I listed before jamaican black castor oil, wild growth oil, peppermint oil and rosemary oil. I used that on this lil thin lil patch i had and whala hair started sprouting out. Yes ma'am it is a keeperCrissyQ wrote:hey, I hear castor oil is good for health hair growth, so guess what I am going to do. starting June 1st, I am going to oil my scalp 3x's a week with Castor oil, a challenge within a challege. has anyone used castor oil before? share your experience

Re: TWA Growth Challenge
That's really cute missmoriah...you did a great job on your hair [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
@newcurlieque...good job on your twists [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]. I twisted my hair last weekend. The plan was to wear a twistout buuuttt it came out looking a dry frizzy mess. I used qhemet's amla/olive heavy cream...a lot of people talk about how that stuff keeps their hair moisturized and shiny but it doesn't seem to do anything for me [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]... any tips

Re: TWA Growth Challenge
missmoriah, I love that style on you...very cute!
Well ladies, I twisted my hair for the first time last night. Took me almost two hours, but I like them a lot. I'm scared to wear it outside though. What to y'all think?
