BAA Growth Challenge

Ok, so for those of us who have officially graduated pass the TWA phase with 4 inches and more, how about a growth challenge! We can definitely pop in on our TWA sisters and help em out becuz we've all been there and can relate to what their going thru! Let's get it in laydeez...now im guessing we can decide how long we want to stay in the challenge becuz im going for 6 months. That'll put me right around or at my year anniversary. Also, what is the CUTOFF for a BAA? is there a limit? We're gonna officially start this May 1st...

Hey Nubie~

I'm in....I know don't have a TWA per se, but I don't have long hair so this will be the perfect challenge for me!!! I will focus on this challenge, and check in on the TWA challenge to give those ladies support.

Hi everyone!

I'm definitely in! I just made the decision to go natural as I was putting some kinky twists about 7 weeks ago but I'm taking the twists out this weekend so I have yet to see my curls but I'm ready to start learning and growing

I'll post my stats next week when the challenge kicks off.

Sounds good to me! I think I'm joining every challenge on CN now! It's cool and it's fun!

Current length: At or around 5 - 5.5" on nape and sides; about 6" in the back (reaches to collarbone stretched)
any goals: Thick, healthy, luscious hair at shoulder length (unstretched)
challenge duration: 3 months (May 1 - August 1)
products: Giovanni TTT and SAS Condish, HE HH leave-in mixture, Shealoe mixture, homemade moisture spritz
reggies: Shampoo 1x/wk, Deep Condition every other week, Co-wash as needed. Protective styling: Twists (Joined Twist Challenge); Unravel after 4-5 days.

Man I want to be in this one but I'm SOOO bad at challenges. I will try. How does one do a length check? Do you use a ruler or do you just give estimates (ear length, shoulder length etc)?

@shauny, i do my length checks with a ruler and i also move a piece in the front of my forehead cuz when u look back u can tell the difference.

Ok so here is my info:

Current length: I have not measured but I can pull my hair down over my massive for head and also pull it almost to my shoulder like down my neck. I put a ruler with the twist and it had me at 3 inches. But it is wrapped up in twist so I dunno.

any goals: I just want Diva to be HEALTHY! I do want good growth also, I do not plan on cutting my hair anymore but to maintain dead ends.

duration: 6 Months

products: I use Oyin's Honey Hemp Condish, Juices and Berries, Head to Toe Honey Shampoo, Whipped Pudding. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Castor Oil

reggies:With Fro: Juices-n-Berries with olive oil and seal with Castor oil
Every two days Co-wash with Honey Hemp, Juices-n-Berries, olive oil, then Castor oil. Wake up in the morning and apply Whipped pudding section by section
Wash once a week or every week and a half.

I am still learning and growing so I am more than ready for this challenge.

I just read the rules and I qualify so I guess I am in (6 months is a long time though ). I guess posting once a month isn't bad. We will see.......
