TWA Growth Challenge

dph, u know what, i've never worried or cared about my hair type! all i know is my hair likes thick products and my curls are more loose in the back and straight/wavy up top. when i tried to define my head and compare it to those 3a, 4b's n c's pics on various sites it did me no good cuz my hair doesnt look like any of em so i just go wit the flow! you'll notice a difference on what ur hair likes n doesnt like...trust me!!

@Nubie the cut off legnth is a good question...would shrinkage play a role lol. I know what you mean about the hair texture all I know is I'm 4 something lol

So true Nubie. Even though it might be helpful to know if you're 2/3/4 a,b,c or whatever Tiffany Anderson aka The Curl Whisper, who posts on CN.com and her own blog says there are other important factors to determine what your hair may like/dislike.

There needs to be a twa standard within the natural hair community. For example, from 1-5'' would be a twa and anything over that would be a BAA.

Nubie and JnB, we're gonna need to see some blowout pics first!

Latoya, I think 1-4" would be a TWA.

Ok, I think I'll bow out of the challenge gracefully but I'll keep checking up on you ladies and your progress and I'll continue to document mine in what is now the BNB Challenge thread.

see now that im under questioning of my twa-ness...i need to start a growth challenge for non-twa'ers!! now im curious for a blow out myself...til then im claiming my twa-ness!!! **cape blowing in the wind**

Hmmm... Ok, I haven't actually measured out my hair. I MIGHT. And that's a big night do a blowout Friday for a 70s skate night. But I probably don't make the cut.
