Hello ladies!

I had a great time this weekend!! I saw Why Did I Get Married Too on Friday with my friend and her family and I loved it (except for the ending. but I'm waiting for the 3rd movie cuz I know he's gonna make it! he has to!!).
Then I had a dance rehearsal Saturday morning before driving down to San Diego. Some of my friends were playing volleyball but I got there too late to actually play so I just watched and hung out.
At my church we usually have sunrise service but only on Easter. We were gonna have service at 6 am so about 8 girls spent the night at my parents house because they didn't wanna have to wake up that early and get a ride in the morning. So we bought Wing Stop! Yay!! We bought 250 wings can you believe it?? 50 terayaki, 50 garlic and parmesean, 50 BBQ (delicious!), 50 lemon pepper, and 50 original spicy. They were so yummy in my tummy
So with so many women in the house I already knew we weren't gonna get to church on time! LOL
My hair: it was very simple because I didn't have time to do twists for a twist out. I wore a wash n go puff with a curly bang from a flat twist. And then later that same day I twisted the bangs and wore those for our annual Easter picnic
Unfortunately I didn't take not one picture of my hair this whole weekend!!!! That is so unlike me ... lol however I did help my friend with her hair. She is natural and her hair is a little longer than arm pit length. But she straightens her hair most of the time unless she has braids in. So she's asking me about what I put on my hair and I'm so flattered! When she got to my house her hair had been flat ironed, but it looked more like a blow dry because it was so fluffy still! She wanted to do a bantu knot out so I helped her put the bantu knots in before we went to sleep. This was after going to Wal Mart and getting sucked into the hair products isle! LOL
She actually only used jojoba oil to make the knots and let me tell it you came out beautifully I wish I had taken pics of her hair but I didn't sorry and for the picnic she just put it in a banana clip and it was too cute.
We had a great service and I loved my Resurrection weekend! I hope you guys were blessed as well

Oh yeah today I wore another wash n go because it's raining and I think that's the perfect style for this kind of weather
I'll post pics a little later of my WnG and my faux length check! lol

WHY WHY WHY!!! I tried so hard not to read anything about the movie....now I know something will happen at the end. (j/k) DH and I are going to see it this evening.

I'm coming back for pics (don't say anything else about the movie!!!!!)

LOL! I was just kidding. I am excited about going to see it. I had to turn off the radio this morning because the stations were talking about it. However, after reading theater reviews I am glad I waited because a lot of people talked about not being able to hear or the crowd just being distracting. Movie tickets cost too much for that mess.

Nothing serious happened but that was the first earthquake I really felt!! I was sitting on the ground at the park and we were eating under a tree when the ground just started shaking!! And it got more intense. It lasted about 45 seconds which is pretty long ... but no one was hurt so I'm glad about that : - )

Glad you were ok. I always think about you guys (You, Femmefox, TerraD, SisterBoyd, HumanNature -really miss her, and Truet) when I hear about earthquakes, mudslides in California.

You certainly are getting more hang time and your curls are POPPING!!! I've only been following this for about 6 weeks and even in that time I can really see the growth in your hair. Such a beautiful, thick head of hair.

Thanks Lynn!!!! I really don't like earthquakes but thank God there hasn't been a serious one in California! I pray that it stays that way ...

Good afternoon curlies!!

This morning I woke up late so I didn't do much to Chlo "The Fro". I just spritzed a little (water, Infusium 23, Nexxus Humectress conditioner, glycerin, Hot 6 oil, extra virgin olive oil), put on my satin bonnet, and threw on a hat!




I plan on twisting later today because I have plenty of time to do it! I was also recently inspired by 2 ladies on fotki: Miss Batyah and Dajo!!! They are amazing at styling their hair in twists and braids so if you haven't checked out their albums, you're in for a treat
