You're transitioning right? Bantu knots seem to be a favorite of transitioners in blending the two textures. Glad you found something that works.

u definitely have growth, and im attempting my puff this wknd. i totally agree with you on straightening. i am heavily contemplating myself becuz i swear if i straighten n my ish dont revert...after all this hard work and money spent on PRODUCTS...its gonna be alot of slow singin and flower bringing

Ok everyone. Just a quick hair update. Last night I washed my hair using KimmayTubes technique. I used the Qhemet CTDG to dry detangle. I don't know how I feel about it yet. Next finger detangled with V05 Moisture Milk. Then I pooed with Bioinfusion Rosemary Mint. I buffered and comb detangled with AOHSR. I didn't do a deep condition. I didn't have the time an my hair felt ok. Finally, I twisted using a mix of Qhemet AOHC and OHHB. I did medium sized twists. I will probably keep them in for a week. I'm getting better at twisting. Also, I can finally shake my twists and they hit me. They've never done that before. Another sign of growth. Yay! I'll post pics tonight.

JNB do you twist yourself or you have someone to do it for you. Because when I twist my twist are pointed in every direction but down. I think I may be doing it wrong and I have seen yours before and was like HOW DID SHE DO THAT!!

I was going to the salon when I first went natural. But I've been doing my hair myself. They do the same thing regardless. My hair just naturally does down when I twist it. Lol. I don't do anything special. However, it could be the size of the twists you're doing. That could effect it. Are you doing small or large twists? Also, you may want to try pinning them. I have certain areas that stick up sometimes. I pin them down or wear a satin scarf (not bonnet, the one you tie). When I do the scarf I make sure the twists are point in the downward direction I want them to go first. HTH.
