People tell me a lot that I look young too. I don't usually get 12 but I've gotten it before. Right now it's around 14 or 15 and everyone says I'll appreciate looking young when I'm older but I just want to look my age! Is that so much to ask? lol I think your twistout pics look great though

I'm in pharmacy school. I wish I would have stayed at Xavier after Katrina, I would have been done in 09. I'm too old to still be in school. It's grad school and all, but you know. Well, you're never too old, but I'm really burnt out at this point.

I completely agree. Here's a few funny stories of how me being of age has caught people by surprise. Once while I was doing my student teaching at my high school in 08, it was lunchtime and I needed to make a quick call. So I went to the bathroom. Now students aren't allowed to use the phone during school hours. So a teacher walked in. Of course knowing that I wasn't a student, I continued my conversation. She left and a few minutes comes back in with the assistant principal. Well the assistant knew who I was (I taught at my alma mater) and we laughed about it. But geez, what if I'd been in a bigger school where no one knew. I would've been sitting in detention with a confiscated phone. Lol

The other, and this one is really bad. I was volunteering at a high school over the summer. It was my first day so I may have been looking a bit lost. Some of the kids stopped me and asked, "Are you gonna go here next year?" When I say the look on my face was of pure disbelief and hilarity at the same time. I didn't even know what to say. They thought I was in 8th grade!!! 8th grade! I was a college student at the time. 8th grade!

Sorry I got a lil carried away. But 8th grade. Oh and I forgot that's not the only middle school one. Last year my mom went with me to the store to find a backpack (these pharmacy school books are heavy). It was a bunch of lil kids in there. Well this one lil girl was kinda following me and my mom. She asked us about a few things. Well finally she asked "What grade is she going to next year?" As a joke my mom said "7th grade". And would you believe that the little girl believed her. I mean seriously. I'm in grad school people. I'm not a 7th grader. Oh one more thing I forgot to mention. Not only do I look 12. I also sound 12. I have a very high pitched voice. I plan on starting YouTubes soon so ya'll can see what I mean.

I think honestly the problem is that kids today look so different. My friend and I were in Chick Fil A the other day. And there were some high school girls in there that looked like some grown a$$ women. (excuse my language) Like, I know I'm small. But my friend is normal sized. Kinda thick if you will. And we were both just marveling at it. I don't mean fat either, I mean these girls were just built. I'm talking Beyonce bodies here. I'm telling ya'll. It's something in the chicken or in the water or something.

Anyways, look what ya'll started. I got wound up and typed an essay. I guess that's my SOAPBOX for today. Oh and I'll be starting a series of YouTube videos. As you can see I love to talk, so I plan to rant about all things dealing with Natural Hair. Be on the lookout. Later ya'll.
