I absolutely love your results. It's amazing all the things you can do with natural hair. You also have alot of stretch with this look. I had trouble just putting a few perm rods in today. It'll be a while before I have full setting skills. Lol

Hey lil sis, I struggled when doing a roller set too, the key is end papers to keep the hair straight while you roll it! Thanks I like it too, we will see how long it lasts

That rollerset is gorgeous! I would love to go into a salon and get my hair done, but I've had bad salon experiences since I've been natural.

Thank you! I am lucky that my stylist is natural and she has been where I am. Although I don't go to her bi-monthly now, she is super supportive! I my Nikki

I got a roller set once....it hurt so bad I started crying. I had to take Advil while I sat under the dryer.

Hey I did the Big chop on Aug 22nd 09, it will be 6mths this month. I didn't truly transition a month or two is all, I have no patience! LOL!

Hair update:

Sorry for the late post today...all I can say is
As I noted yesterday I didn't bother with my hair because I didn't leave the house. So this morning I set about separating my smashed curls. I was a little worried because I was frizzy. But I took my time and carefully separated with hair nectar on my finger tips. Here is the outcome:
I will take a better quality pic when I get home tonight. Talk to you all later!
