After washing or co-washing your hair, is it better to seal when its damp, wet or dry?

In order to seal the moisture your hair should have moisture in it some people use water , a leave in that's water based than seal with oil , but you can also wet or damp your hair than apply an oil to seal in the moisture Smile

My preference is damp. If it is too wet, it is too slick to seal in moisture. Never tried sealing on dry hair.

My preference is damp hair also. Usually after a co-wash or wet hair w/a spray bottle to refresh a style.

I think this is most effective on wet or damp hair as you are using the oils to seal in the moisture from water or some other moisturizing product.

I also seal on damp hair. If I put oil on dry hair, it just sits on top of the hair.

Normally I do it when it's damp and after I put on my moisturizer but lately I've been switching it up. After I wash my hair in the shower I don't ring it out I slap on my moisturizer and run it through my hair while wet, then I after I step put the shower, towel dry my body and head to the bedroom that's where I slap on my oil.

I'm loving it so far, go the idea from DenimPixie on YT, she said she moistruzes while in the shower.

Before I would add my oil on damp hair though, it rolls off when it's dry.
