yea winters in SC can be really cold too so i know its best to leave them in lol

You're hair turned out sooo good!!

ok soooo i couldn't take it yall!! lol the yarn braids are out!! I sat up until 4am taking them out and slept with my DC in..I just finished banding it this morning..

I only kept the yarn braids in a week lol i know sad BUT now i have come to the conclusion that braids, extension, weaves, and wigs are not for me..so i will not stress myself and waste my time putting them things in..my protective style of choice will be twist and nothing more lol..

but it felt so nice playing and touching my curls!! my mama said she thinks i have a nervous condition with my hair because im always in it lol

oh yea and i finally got a chance to measure it and it is 3-3 1/2 inches!!! ill be loading length checks pics later..

It's hard to keep braids when you're on cn reading about everybody else's hair styling!! I had baby twists in October and the only reason I made myself keep them for 4 weeks was because I paid a lot for them!! Congrats on your growth!!

lol Ray that was the same realization I made a while back. My yarn braids only lasted a week also but it seemed like forever!! haha.

Wow, it's has grown!!! Can't wait for the pics. Well at least you didn't waste money at a salon and take them down. I've seen girls do that all the time.....

lol yea see if i stayed away from CN and you tube i probably could have kept them in a lil longer

lol yes when i was taking them out I was like wait didnt i just put these suckas in last thursday lol ugh it sure did feel like forever..

yea true..I use to one of those girls too..once i spent $200 on micros and took them out in 3 weeks!! lol yep stupid i know..so if i do ever mess with braids again i will definitly be doing them myself..

lol sweet i had too!! they were driving me crazy and i missed my curls!! But now im as happy as ever..and did i tell you that you and your daughter look extactly alike..i think i did lol

ok so when i took my hair out the yarn braids i notice it was a lil dry so for the rest of the week i will be doing the baggy method..and so far its working i took down a twist and it was soft and moisturized, a BIG difference from this morning!!

so here's my length check!! i will be 5 months post BC on the 3rd
Side 3 inches

back 3 1/2 inches

That is too funny....I know how hard it is to keep in braids and twists. I missed my hair each time. You don't have a nervous condition you have the HIH (Hand In Hair) syndrom...LOL We all have it!!
