LOL. @ juices and lynnie. We noticed that a little while ago. I think it's the glasses too, which seem to be nearly exactly the same!

Wow you hair looks great. It must feel good to see your dedication and hard work pay off in taking care of your hair. You've had great growth since the summer.
I like the layers too, it will look good with your curlies.

Hello Hello Hello!!! Gosh I have not been on at all...so much to catch up on!! I have a new job!! woot woot! So I have been super busy and have been working overtime and whatnot...all work no play lately.
Updates!!!
I did a twist out a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect! and I mean perfect!(when i say perfect I mean I could wear my hair up or down) yay!! and that was it! i wore my hair down on 5 day hair!!! i couldnt believe it! Of course I didnt take any pics of it i only have one photobooth photo
This is 5 day hair!:
So the next week I tried it again and it did not work out the same way...immediately put it into a ponytail...so slight disappointment! But still nice.
This week I put my hair in rollers for the first time by myself!! I did the cheat set...and wow!! i feel uber sexy! I used aussie moist as leave-in and coconut oil afterward for shine (kind of like you would use oil sheen) oh and sorry about the sideways pics i dont know what is up with the mac
This is two day hair! Rocking the ponytail as usual!
Cant believe my hair held the curls well enough for me to wear it down today!
Feeling uber sexy in this last photo!
I am taking some of MahoganyCurl's advice:
She has said many times that although shea butter works for everyone it is way too heavy for her hair...I am definitely in love with shea but i am willing to take a chance on something lighter cuz the shea does weigh down my hair...my alternatives like olive oil and coconut oil will definitely not work since they are too light but I was thinking about MANGO BUTTER. I have not been able to find it in stores so will def order online and let you all know.
I have also been really bad with DC and DT's so I need to get on that! So little time nowadays I am getting lazy...
Now off to check everyone elses blogs...

Blogging and this job just dont mix! I really wanted to post tonight and someone calls me a couple of hours ago for a brief memo on todays meetings!! ahhh!
So I finally combed my hair out tonight. I was rocking the untouched curls since saturday and they were looking very frizzy! This my first experience with a rollerset period. Since I can remember people have always taken a curling iron to my hair to make it curl--> major heat damage (most people think i have my mother's hair and her hair doesnt curl even with a curling iron so...rollerset was never an option)
Despite the fact that I combed it out it still curled back!! yay! let's see what i can do with it tomorrow.
OHHHHH!! Guess what I bought on ebay! MANGO BUTTER! I'm planning on whipping it with coconut oil and using it for my twist outs! Real excited!
I have also decided to try a new tactic with myself and that is to stop talking and doing more...this is very general but I tend to say I wanna do this and that and never getting to it so until I have accomplished something I will not say a word! Soon enough i will have news of my accomplishments! the willpower is def there!
Goodnight everyone!

I went scissor crazy today!! I cut more drastic layers in my hair...ahhh! i think its ok...
Besides cutting it I twisted them loosely and put them in loose bantu knots and conditioned with coconut oil. My hair was extra frizzy today so I gotta figure something out.
I realize everyday there is so much to learn from your elders. My great-aunt is teaching me how to make my own cocount oil! When I told her I was running out she goes on to tell me that she used to make coconut oil for her own hair when she was a teenager growing up in Haiti! This saturday we'll be making our own coconut oil!
Goodnight!
