Whole look is very pretty!
Have fun making coconut oil. A person on fotki had steps and pictures how to do it. It seemed time consuming. I look forward to checking back to see how it went.

I've definitely had great feedback from the fam and of course you curly girls...they are sick and tired of the ponytail!!
As you all can see from the twist out my hair goes limp all the time and lacks the body that I want so much and with the ponytails i can fake fullness lol
So this fuller looking hair thanks to the rollerset is so exciting!! can't wait to do it again!

Re: Winnielours
So I went shopping today since I had the day off...nothing serious just spent the day out with the auntie...
Super excited cuz I got new shoes! They're medium heel mary-janes and super comfortable(Aerosoles!) cuz I have to be at work for 12 hrs on Monday in a suit! I am gonna need divine intervention!
Question for you ladies: Can I mix match suit separates? Real nervous cuz I forgot to dry clean my clothes for monday? I was told it would be okay as long as I didnt mix two different blacks or browns?
On to hair news:
My hair looked bad today, why:
1) my hair doesnt like oil when its straight..always been the case but I thought since it was coconut oil things would be different..not
2) Some parts got extra frizzy not quite sure why that happened
3) I put two cornrows last night to give it a different curl pattern...not quite a good idea cuz it just looked real weird
Oh and when I say bad I just mean that I couldnt wear it out like I thought I would...i dont know about you guys but when i try something new with my hair I have dreams about it all night and the anticipation just builds overnight...i was just disappointed
but of course it looked much nicer in the pony...but remember i'm trying to get out of this ponytail trend.
So tomorrow is movie night with my goddaughter...i might have to cancel on her cuz of my hair! I am so nervous about what my hair will look like for monday...planning to wear a rollerset and my hair doesnt dry in 12hrs...so was gonna put the rollers in on sat night and let it dry till monday morn? i know im being paranoid...i'll fit the movie in somehow...
sry for the long post night night

You can totally mix suit separates. I love grey jackets with black bottoms. I agree with the watch the blacks and browns thing!

Can I tell you all I have never worked so hard in my life! Seriously I have been working the longest days of my life and can barely eat im so tired! I must say its great for my diet! im working 15 hr days y'all and on heels!
But my boss is so cool, he thinks i've been working so hard that he wants me to get paid better and so im looking at some extra mulla!!! (oh and his wife and kids are all curly heads!!)
I miss all of you so much! i have so much to catch up on!
p.s. this is my day off and i just got out of bed...yes it felt great!
Hair Update:
I tried just using coconut oil in place of the shea butter. NOT GOOD! my hair needs the hold that the shea butter gives and although it was shiny, there was no hold and it was just too greasy
I got the mango butter in the mail and whipped it up with shea, coconut oil, almond oil and olive oil. That's what I've been using for twist outs
So I've found a new product that i love! its only been the first try but i did a twist out with garnier fructis sleek and shine leave-in conditioner with the whipped mango butter (i melt the butter and use it to seal all the twists not just the ends) Can we say perfect twist out!! When I separated the twists my hair has never looked fuller! You know i was strutting!
Oh and now im doing 3 strand twists!!! they are great cuz i have alot less separateing to do and a lot more definition. Oh and they hold better while it dries!
Here's a couple of pics of the perfect twist out:

Re: Winnielours
Have this weird sinus pressure/ headcold thing going on...but i was determined to post tonight and I will gosh darnit!
Ok So I had a good weekend...despite take home work! But yesterday evening I decided to go to church (there's always a reason for me not to go, y'all know how it goes) well I went and I am SO HAPPY that I did! It was like the sermon was directed specifically at me! It seemed like all those questions I had asked God were answered! Well that's why despite this ugly weather and horrible cold I have i am still feeling great!
Now on to hair...Something else happened yesterday! I hadnt planned on going to church so i was still rocking that twistout from last week...so i had to come up with something quick. I just channeled the incredible TERRAD and started cornrowing my hair with a part down the side and rocked a side bun! and can I tell yall my mom and grandma love love love my hair like this...their words "you look like a grand lady"
Here's a pretty bad pick with my webcam...dont mind the face lol
Oh and I am deep conditioning right now which could have caused these sniffies but i must look good for Wed...my girls are taking me out to celebrate the b-day! Totally rocking a twistout!
