Ladies this rain has completely messed me up...the cold is getting worse but im not as bad as i expected...

i thought i would have a chance to rest today but no i got called into a meeting to translate for 4 people! translating is an art that i have not yet mastered...listening to one language and spitting out another including cultural idioms that dont quite translate= nerve-racking when you have to do it in front of 30 VIPs who im trying to impress

But i had to wear my hair in the same side bun in the pics above but with a flower on the side

im so sick right now my head is pounding but im determined to post! Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow... its my b-day!

So my birthday did not quite turn out the way it was supposed to. I had to postpone birthday dinners all willy nilly because of work and my weird cold thing..My mom came to NYC just for my bday!! yay so we had a family dinner with cake but guess whose camera went missing for 3days! yours truly..not worried since I was sick and my hair was in that side bun again.

But i have been loving my hair because Im using something new! Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-In Cream Conditioner!
I absolutely hate the smell (reminds me of plastic and glue)...but since i've been using almond oil instead of coconut oil (it seals better than coconut for me) the nasty smell disappears..

The twist out in the last pics were with the Garnier...Im having trouble finding it in my local stores.boo

Almond oil on the other hand doesnt look like it will be a staple..Im just gonna finish the bottle i bought...I have a small rash on the back of my neck and i thinks its the culprit!

Off to check up on you ladies...

Happy Belated Easter!
it was a weird easter without the family...it just didnt feel the same going to church on my own and what not...i missed the family dinner and family trek to the church
