I'm so excited about my new style! I'm keeping it for as long as I can and I cannot wait to see how it will look once I unravel the twists. This is my first time cornrowing my own hair since my bc, but I think it's pretty good for a first try.

I love this style! How long did it take you to do it?

Thanks KC. I didn't get to do it all in one sitting, so probably about 3 hours total. I had to do the twists really small because my hair is really thin on that side.

Ooh I am so liking that style. Girl how do you cornrow the back of your own head? That is one thing I have trouble with.

Thanks! It really wasn't that hard at all. The hardest part was trying to get the parts somewhat straight. If you can do that the cornrowing is easy.

Ur hair looks great I jus did finger twist last night I might have to bite the style a little

Great job and I bet it will look super cute and edgy once the twists are unraveled; not sure how well my cornrowing techniques are so I may try flat twist as an alternative copying your style. Post pics when you release the twists if you can :-)

Thanks Lynnie! I used Donna Mac's Juicy creamy gel on the cornrows and KBN butter and a little Eco styler gel on the twists. Next time I will use a butter on the cornrows though.

Thanks, I unraveled them last night for a meetup and yes it was very edgy Flat twists would work as well. I'll post pics later on.
