I thought that this was a nice way to see what certain "types" of hair look like.. Just sharing

I am currently reviewing the Mizani True Texture line for my former stylist. I've tried the sulfate free shampoo and I was very impressed!!

They also recommend texturizing for any hair texture that has a remote curl [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I can't even see the "coil" in the pictures they present for the kinkier hair types. The pictures for the last three hair types all look pretty much the same, except with different thicknesses. It's like they jumped from "very curly" to "super kinky" without any middle ground. My hair's in that middle ground, and I know that my coils are noticeable. Bad representation, much? I like their DESCRIPTION of the different types. For example where the hair starts to curl (grows out then curls or curls straight from scalp) That's very insightful. My hair curls directly out of my scalp so I'm probably somewhere in the coiled range. But I agree with SummerRuby. I can't tell a difference between the last few pictures at all. They say coily, yet I see no coils. Maybe they combed the hair out? But yea, there are intermediates also. As we can see no hair typing system is all inclusive. I've come to the realization that no two heads are alike. Enough with these categories already. Lol.

Wow, that is interesting. I like the descriptions better than the pictures they show. I guess I'm types 4 to 6...I got a lot going on up there!

Lynnie let me know how that goes. I am interested in how they work. I thought it gave great descriptions of what the hair does and how it is..

@BajanPrincess82. Your hair is lovely...

This is interesting. I like the descriptions more than the pictures, though. I'm somewhere in between type 6 through 8.

i like the descriptions as well. I had a problem with the pics too.

I was a huge fan of their products when relaxed. I was actually pleased that they started a line for naturals (curly/koily hair).

Haven't tried since I BC'd because the line and my transitioning hair had gotten along so poorly. I bet they have a bangin' deep conditioner though!
