What did you buy...November 2010?

I'm planning on going nuts with the Black Friday sales. I will buy something, and I've been checking out Qhemet, Darcy's, and Hairveda, but right now, everything by Donna Marie is looking good.

But as far as what I've already bought? I bought the Darcy's Botanicals Coils Curling Jelly, a 32 oz jar of Eco Styler Olive Oil gel, a 16 oz jar of Safi Curl Clouds, a bottle of Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner (which I returned), the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep conditioner (returned this, too), and the Giovanni Nutrafix Reconstructor.

I am getting ready for BF, but I caved and ordered more Qhemet's Burdock Root Cream and Amla Cream. Also, since I won't be walking outside without a wet head this winter, I bought a heat cap and so far so good. My mother had an oldschool thermal heat cap in the 80's that looked like an old-fashioned, deepsea diving helmet with a long cord coming from the back of it. We clowned and played dress up with that thing, but the generation before us knew what was up.

Me and my daughter are almost out of our Kinky Curly Curly Custard. I'll be picking up two jars of that (I don't wanna have to go upstairs to get hers so we don't share) and I'll be picking up my Coconut oil as well. Out of my Aubrey Organics conditioner as well.

Nothing so far and I am PROUD of myself...holding off as long as I can

Bought a clay shampoo bar and a babassu shampoo bar.

Items on my hitlist - Oyin Honey Hemp Condish, Anita Grant items, Peach Kernal and Amla hair oil, organic, hemp seed oil at a minimum.

mochamom, Just add a few drops of your fav eo to mask the smell.

I also bought some cute hair accessories from target!! they had a lot of cute stuff i couldn't resist.

I finally purchased some Giovanni direct Leave-in...that's it.

You can buy them on the ground. Whole Foods, stores that sell natural/organic items, health food stores, stores that carry aromatics/massage oils and there are tons of online stores such as mountainroseherbs.com

I drove waaaay across town to the Target that sells MJ, Curls, etc. and got Shea Moisture's Curl and Style Milk and Curl Enhancing Smoothie.

LaToya, which one will you try first and when? Will you use it after you wash and condish or on dry hair? Is this your first use or are you familiar with them already?

This is my first time using them so I think I'll cowash tonight, use the Milk as a leave-in, then twist my hair with the Smoothie after it dries.

Have you used any of the SM products? What were your results?

I have the treatment masque. I am not pleased with it as a DT, but it works well as a leave-in. I sometime use it to smooth my edges only because I am trying to get rid of it. I won't repurchase. I am not big on shea heavey products and I noticed that is why I have been getting build-up. Also, it worked better for me on dry hair. It makes the hair very soft though. Even when I eliminated the KCNT, it wasn't helpful on wet hair.

Well on my way to WF to get some flax seed. I want to make the flax seed gel. My curiosity has gotten the best of me.

By the way, has anyone tried this conditioner? The ingredients look good and it smells wonderful!

I need to add to my list I bought some Uncle Funkys Daughter Extra Butter & I am in LOVE with it I think I finally found something that will help with my dryness

Thanks Lynnie. I did a search. Just as I imagined good reviews here and by blogers elsewhere.

November is definitely the month that I've been restocking & trying out new products. So about 2 days ago I restocked up on Giovanni products! Wal-mart had them on rollback so I couldn't resist that $5.97 price & plus I was completely out. So I rebought the Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner. Usually I'll get the Tea Tree Shampoo to go with that, but instead I bought the Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo. So im excited to see how that works out. Also, today I made a special trip to Target and purchased the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie! Im super syked to try this out because I've heard great things about it so far! So Im definitely going to give it a try this weekend! So we shall see! Last month, I ordered a sample size of Miss Jessie's Quick Curls, but I haven't tried it yet, so I guess I'll just throw that into my November batch as well!

There are a few other things that I plan to get too, but for now Im going to try these out and see what they do! BTW, this Curl Enhancing Smoothie stuff smells sooooo yummy!!!!

I've been wanting to try the Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic! I saw some reviews on Youtube and it seems to be good! That was on my list to get over the summer, but I kept overlooking it! May have to add it to my November list!
