Hi. I have about 4 inches of hair, I think. And I've been natural for about 7 months. Going for that six inches of hair per year. I'm mostly a 4a. Some 4b. Smile Here is a picture of my hair before I had the ends trimmed. First one is naked-hair, freshly washed with only yestocucumbers leave in. The second one is using Cottonseed Curl Boost, the body shop.

Sorry for the sucky quality. I took the pics using a webcam and it's just for documenting my growth and comparing results from different products.

P.S Since hair grows about half an inch every month, I'd say you're right on track.

Your hair looks so moisturized and lovely! I've been battling dryness lately, what products are you using?

@ curlyneenee

I Transitioned for about 3 months before I did my BC...

when stretched out I have about two inches as well...

I am 4a and in some areas 4b

after my co-wash (every two or three days) I twist my hair with Carol’s daughter hair milk(original) (dime size) & SoftSheen-Carson Optimum Oil Therapy 3-n-1 Cream Oil I leave them in over night and take them out when I wake up... the results are very soft and moisturized my curls are usually springy and more defined =D ...

try twisting if you don’t already & tell how you like it dance

thanks!! and i have to give all the credit to qhemets biologics AOHC!! its literally heaven in a jar girl..i co wash daily (with Yes to carrot..i love that stuff too) and after i'm done washing i apply KCKT (as my leave in), coconut oil (as my sealant), and then the AOHC and that usually keeps my hair soft for the rest of the day

Once of the best ways to determine the type of hair that you have is to examine it when it is soaking wet, because it is then very moist. What type of curls do you see ?

@ naybesa I completely understand the hair typing issue sometimes my hair actually curls the moment I comb it it gets a bit froey as well growing up looking back at my hair I figured I had 4b hair until my mom told me my hair was always blowed dried I have no idea what my hair was like then so why not learn now
