Is your hair shedding or breaking? If it's shedding (white bulb at the root), there really isn't a problem unless it's an abnormal amount. Shedding is a normal process. If it's breaking (no bulb at root, shorter hair), then you probably need to start by figuring out the problem. Are you lacking in protein or moisture? Once you figure that out, you should be able to resolve your issue. There are some other discussions on here about that, so you may want to check and see what you need.

Also, if you have split ends, your hair will break also, and you would just need to trim those off.

Hope that helps you out!

It might be your normal shed pattern if it occurs on a regular basis. I have heard that garlic supplements and tea rinses can help stop excessive shedding. I have not tried these methods out on myself but there are some people who swear by these methods.

Thank you very much beenatural88. I like your flower headband. Did you purchase the headband or did you make it yourself?

Although some shedding is normal, I suggest that you make sure that you are balancing moisture and protein in the products that you are using. This is the link to a great article with a hair test at the end: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/278612/the_fine_art_of_protein_and_moisture.html?singlepage=true&cat=69
