Glycerin mixes Empty Glycerin mixes

Post by chocolate-kinks 18th October 2010, 11:27 am

I'm on a 8 month protective hair challenge and i'm looking for a glycerin mix. The mixes I have made don't seem to be moisturizing enough. Every time I spritz them in my hair my scalp ends up very dry. Maybe i'm not using enough water or i'm using too much glycerin. Does anyone have a mix, or atleast know of a ratio on how to mix it? it could have other things added, just no oils. My hair HATES oils lol.

I used glycerin mixes but don't necessarily measure the amount that i add.
I think the key to a moisturiziing mix is adding a leave-in conditionner...

If i had to measure the amount that i add, i'd say 1/5 of my bottle is glycerin, 1/4 is leave in conditionner and fill it up with distilled water....
hope that helps
