Re: Don't let it happen to you!!!
I'm still a product junkie, but because I like to try new things, not because I'm searching for a miracle product like I was when I first started my journey. I pretty much know what keeps my hair moisturized, what will give me hold for certain styles, but I like new shiny things! So every now and again you'll see me trying out something new, just because.

Re: Don't let it happen to you!!!
When I first started my natural journey, I only used a max of 2 or 3 products, mostly because those were the ones I could find easily. I've tried more products in the last few months than I did in the beginning because I'm doing a better job of learning what my hair likes, and I'm doing more ordering online in advance. But even now, I only buy one or two products at a time. I try it too see if I like it, and do my best to use it up — even if I have to dilute it or mix it with something else to make it more appropriate for my hair — before I try something new.
I can definitely see how easy it would be to fall into product junkyism when all the natural hair bloggers and vloggers are telling you they like so many different products. One bit of advice that I took to heart from the beginning was to learn what works for my hair. I'm well aware that what works for someone else might not work for me, so it's easier for me to find what works and stick with it.

But I won't know what works for me unless I try them ALL!

Wait, I just had a thought: does owning an 80oz tub of gel make me a GEL CRACKHEAD? Cuz that's A LOT of gel. I haven't even cracked it open yet (I'm still working through a 4oz jar of gel)...
Re: Don't let it happen to you!!!
*Cough, cough* - My name is Robin and I am a conditioner crackhead. Today I purchased Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner and Garnier Fructis curl and scuplting gel even though i already have 2 conditioners and 2 gels. (AOHR was on sale and I had $1.00 off the gel though!!!) I must admit it was a challenge to not use my other coupon and purchase the Triple Nourish conditioner by GF as well.
Whew!! Glad I got that off my chest. Now time for recovery.
