Thanks ChrsLvsBks, After I took down the four plat braids I sectioned my hair into four parts. I made about 6 bantu knots in each section (total 24). For each bantu knot I used Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In-Conditioner, I applied about a dime size to the a section before I double twist part way down and then finished it the rest of the way down into a single twist. I applied EVOO to the ends. I didn't spray the hair with water after I was done because the conditioner for me was enough to set the hair.

Hi Siren. I'm so glad we all had the chance to get together, maybe next time we will have a chance to all hear one another a little better. Your hair has convinced me to try curlformers. I have been showing my family your hair, everyone likes it.

Shoot, I've been looking at everyones post and I almost forgot to post on my own HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 Icon_silent. Ha Ha!

Uumm, so I still have the bantu knot out (day 4). When I first put the bantu knots in my hair I put in 24. On day 2 and 3 I put in about 10 bantu knots before I went to bed. Basically I combined 2 or 3 of the twist and put them together. On day 4 I put my hair up in a high curly pony tail. I think this is my routine for this style. It last well for 3 days and by day 4 the top is frizzy.

TTFN!

Before I forget HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 Icon_rolleyes .

The Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In-Conditioner is great for the initial style but if it is reapplied to dry hair it leaves a nasty build-up. Like I said before, the shampoo sucks, so I don't think I will waste my money on this specific product again.

I will try your nighttime routine when I try a bantu knot again. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to see pictures of your two, three or four day hair. TIA

So here is a pic of my bedtime retwisted bantu knots- again I take 2 or 3 sections and twist together. It's easier because the curls are already formed. In the pics I try to show different angles to show how the sections are combined.

So what I have found out is that day 2 the curls and volume are great. Day 3 the curls still look nice but the top is flat (this comes from combining the top section with the bottom when I retwist at night). This can be easily fixed, don't combine the top twist.

This is day 2 hair after working out (I worked out with the bantu knots)....the pic is not that great, kinda dark.HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 Pict0013

To style my Holiday hair I cowashed with Patene Relaxed & Natural Intensive Moisturizing Conditioner. After the cowash and hair air dried I applied Neotrogena Triple Moisture Leave-In-Conditioner. I added some olive oil to the Leave-In-Conditioner and applied it throughout myhair. I put my hair into four sections and made 9 plait braides and set to rollers.

here we go...HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 3710

Christmas morning I did a braid out. I was looking for more volume. While my hair was soft and I loved the wave action, it appeared flat. But the style is so quick and easy that I'm sure I'll do it again.

here's an upclose...HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 Pict0015

Very pretty and great results! When I get some good length, I'll definitely have to put this in my line-up!

Thanks Ladies HumanNature - NEWBIE - Page 4 Herz !

I really like adding the EVOO to my conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and I don't have oil on my hands when I run my hands through my hair. I'm sticking to EVOO + condish because it's so cheap. This new year I plan to venture out and try products that give curl definition. I've seen so many on the other post that I've started a list.
