THANKS IB & SisterBoyd
@ Inteligentbeauty, the early school years is such an amazing time. You are going to be so proud of all the things your son does and accomplishes. It's wonderful to see them grow!

Re: HumanNature - NEWBIE
Thank you A85, this site has helped me in so many ways. The potential was always there I just had to learn how to work with what I have. I so admire the versatility of the women on this site and other natural sites.
Pre-poo today with Suave cucumber condish and EVOO. I will be going to see Tyler Perry's play "Madea's Big HappyFamily" at the Kodak theater on Sunday and I am trying to decide if I want to try twist in some kind of updo style (I have seen so many beautiful twist styles on CurlyNikki) or stick with my trusty flat twistout. I'm trying to prepare my hair now and not wait until the last minute.

I love your hair in the picture with your son! It is AWESOME!! I will just sit back and admire because my hair will never be that smooth. It loves to hang out (away from the head) because it is SO thick. My hair always look like it's in a bob in its natural state.

Re: HumanNature - NEWBIE
In SoCal it rained all last week (which I am happy about because we needed every inch of it and plus it is so beautiful afterwards), well because of the rain I did not want to deal with the mini floods, being soak-n-wet most of the time and my hair, so this gave me the chan
ce to do braids and buns. Most of the week I wore a side bun (actually two braids/ponytails wrapped around one another). This style lasted most of the week.
I made a diagonal part in my hair and combed/brushed the bottom ponytail to the side, secured with an elastic band and twist the braid and did the same for the top ponytail and then wrapped the bottom braid around the top elastic band and the top braid around the bottom elastic band.
