Re: HumanNature - NEWBIE
Well my flat twist did not last AT ALL! I put them in Friday and down they came on Saturday. I really wanted to keep them in so that I could stay out of my hair. I put in about twelve twist and they were going back. I will try again at the end of this week but maybe more twist.
I end up wearing a bun for the weekend, very simple

What is this you may ask? This is the hair that ended up in my wide tooth comb after my cowash. When I combed my hair after my cowash this is all that came out! I usually have a A LOT of hair that comes out. The only thing I can attribute this to is prepooing because besides that I haven't really changed my hair care routine. Well I have stopped using my comb and I am doing more cowashes and less shampoo. It could be a combo of these things. Whatever it is I'm HAPPY about it!

Your bun style looks tres chic, oh la la. As others wrote, you look beautiful!
When changing one thing in your regimen, you can really tell what effects it is having on your hair. Yay for less shed hairs!

No hair confessions today. I did a flat twistout because I know that my hair likes that style. Very busy day, going to bed.

Re: HumanNature - NEWBIE
Yesterday I wanted big hair so when I put in the flat twist I kept the product down to almost nothing. Well this worked for one side of my head, the hair was fluffy and big but the other side was flat.
I wonder what happened. I felt unbalanced.
Well I'm going to try again. My son made the Honor Roll and he will get an award tomorrow, I want to block some of the other parents view. Just kiddin'

Congrats to your son making the honor. Did you here about the 12 year old girl who is homeschooled getting ready for college? Autumn Ashante is her name...such a beautiful and smart little girl as well.
Re: HumanNature - NEWBIE
Proud moment for both you and your son. I'd love to see both of you like this .

Hi d.denise,
Yeah that bun was so simple and you can dress it up or down. I gathered my hair into a ponytail (the good thing is that the ponytail does not have to be tight to look good) and I put the ponytail into two sections one on top and the other on bottom. I put each section into two strand twist. I wraped one clockwise and the other counterclockwise and secured with pins.
