Happy B-Day Lady! B-Days can be so much fun, regardless of of how simple or extravagant our plans are. I try to make it a point to visit a spa or do something delightful for myself on my special day.

Now in regards to being disappointed, that's really going to be based on why you're making the choice to go natural. There are many many reasons why we "go natural" (i.e. want something different/tired of relaxing, want to see curl pattern, allergic to relaxers, etc.) In my humble opinion there is no right or wrong reason b/c at the end of the day it's your hair and your choice.

Thanks for the words! It bothered admiting the potential disappointment, but I didn't know how else to put it. If ALL I can do is rock a fro when, then I may have issues. If I have even the slightest bit of softness and functionality, then by-golly I'm keeping it. lol I'm sure I get more new growth and I get used to working with it, I'll realize that it's not at horrible as the world (or my mom for that matter) makes it seem.

Every Sunday at my church, I see a few more new naturals!!! I had two people tell me today they were transitioning!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

When I first did my BC, there were about 7 naturals. Now I know there are about 30 or more!!

I was thinking that I should probably start Christmas shopping. Its after the 10th. Mind you I don't have a lot to do because of the state of my bank account. Being a college student (well technically only for a week longer) makes you poor.

Is officially back on bedrest!!! Keep us in your prayers the twins have 12wks left but for some reason i have dilated(1cm) and my cerix is thinning out some!!!! Feet are up and even though I hate it I'm not picking up my two year old!!! Trying to stay positive!!!!!

Random Thought: Zumba instructors that can't dance will never seize to amaze me. It just shouldn't be allowed.

Is there such thing as a quarter life crisis? I turn 25 tomorrow and I feel real haggard today. Like I haven't accomplished enough to be 25 yet. I feel rushed now! I didn't check off nearly enough things on my list of things to do before I turn 25. *sad face*

And yes.......I had a list. Very Type A over here!
