Who has used Cantu Shea Butter Leave in?

I really like the way the Cantu shea butter leave in conditioner does on my hair. It keeps it really moist. So, I've been using it at night. The only thing is that I lose my curl/coil definition in the morning, but I can't mix it with my other products because it makes the little white balls. I don't want to co-wash every morning and WnG because the weather is changing. Is there any safe products to use with this to keep the curl definition? Anyone have any luck?

i haven't used it...idk gurl...lol..i'm having dry hair problems and moisturizing problems myself, plus i am kinda new oto being natural....i bc'd in july (the end) so um idk what to tell u b/c i have curls and um it's kinda nappy curly to me, idk how everyone else views it, but um i hate it right now, honestly. hope u find what ur looking for.

I use Giovanni Direct Leave In with EVCO or Vatika oil every day or two, to boost my moisture.

I use cantu leave in, seal with vatika oil then style with eco styler......I have not had a problem with white balls Very Happy

I use it also for my twists and I seal with evco no little white balls either.

Seems like that is when I have the problems, when I try to use it with gel. But what about this vatika oil. Do you think that might make a difference? Do they sell this at the Vitamin stores?

That's my staple leave in, is the Giovanni. I think my hair does really well with it.

i stopped using the cantu after the first can i bought finished. i was done forr good b.c of the effect the cones had on my hair. it was awesome stuff though lol i reallllly like the garnier fructis sleek and shine leave it it makes my hair so soft when applied to wet or dry hair and even when i use it to twist or braid-very soft by morning or when i take them out Smile

I think the oil does make a difference cause it seals the leave in on your hair then when you apply gel it is placed on top of oil...i guesss Smile

I got my Vatika oil from an indian store. I heart the Vatika oil, lol

I use the cantu shea butter, then I apply coconut oil then eco styler gel I as well do not see the white balls.

what affect did the cones have on your hair?

well, it made it shiny and it looked great especially on the relaxed hair ( during my transition) but the natural hair felt almost flaky and dry even when wet .. its weird and cones always do that to me !

I did two strand twists using Cantu Shea Butter Leave In on clean hair (shampooed & rinsed hair only); moisturized my damp hair with CO. When my hair was somewhat dry I did my twists, wrapped my hair and called it a night. Today I'm wearing the best twist out since my BC and my hair is moisturized & soft. My hair has taken a liking to Cantu. I don't think my hair likes 'all natural' products that much. It was mentioned that Cantu has a lot of 'cones' in it... my hair likes the cones.

Second day hair using the Cantu looks and feels great! I just misted with my aloe grow mix and massaged...

Cantu doesn't seem to like Eco gel though, I tested a bit on my edges and it clumped up... had to use CO to smooth my edges instead

I love this aloe grow recipe and use it daily to revive my curls. My routine is to wash/condish, spray aloe grow on to scalp/hair & massage well, pat gently w/towel to stop dripping; seal my hair with either EVCO or CO also massaging my scalp with oil throughout the process. When 50% dry I start using Cantu to two strand twist my hair. Great results! I don't use gels or leave ins at all.
