FLEXI RODS
I have been searching for reasonably priced flexi-rods for a while now. Everywhere I looked wanted over $5 for like five flexirods which would equal about $40 or more since I believe I would need about 40 rods to set my big ole head. I don't have that kind of money to waste on an experiment. But then I watched chisellecouture's video where she did a flexi rod set with her hair in ponytails (it was featured on CN awhile ago) and in the description box she provided the link to company/person on ebay who she bought hers from. The cost was like $1.95 for 30 flexirods
The drawback was you had to have a paypal account to buy from them, but I didnt have one...then. Now that I have a paypal account, I do not remember the name of the seller and cant seem to find him/her/it on ebay and chisellecouture no longer has a youtube channel
so do any of you know where I can purchase some flexis online or in-store?
if it helps i'm in DC

I got mine from here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290447535221
Its a 30 pk for $8.99 w/free shipping. The seller is international so it'll take awhile for them to arrive but they are definitely worth it. Hope this helps!

Re: FLEXI RODS
Your very welcome!
They are a decent quality considering how "cheap" they are. It took almost a month which is very long. The seller is in Hong Kong, China so it has to go through customs and all that which explains the delay. Its one of those things you have to order and forget about it. lol

lol, wow!!! a month!?!?! i guess i will have to forget about it then... at least it'll be a nice little surprise when it finally does arrive. hopefully my hair would have grown alot more by then
p.s. were the 30 enough for your entire head? we have about the same amount of length..

Re: FLEXI RODS
30 was more than enough, I think I only used 20 or so for my whole head...
I cant wait until my hair is even longer so I can attempt the twist and curl!

Re: FLEXI RODS
you havent tried it yet? the TnC was my first hair style. it turned out really well, but for some reason i can find the pic i took of it, sorry. i received a lot of comments on it which was great because i did not know what i was doing. this boy from my class even texted me randomly and was like "by the way i like your hair" ..needless to say my esteem was sufficiently boosted for the day

Re: FLEXI RODS
Sounds like you had alot of success!
I dont think my twists are long enough. If I had a smaller flexi rod, I think it would work. Hopefully when I hit my one year mark in December I'll have more length to work with.
